Having an 'apartment-style' room was really beneficial - giving myself and my Mum more room to relax, unwind and not feel confined. It was a good 10 minute walk into Bonn which was fine for us as we had 3 lovely fresh, sunny winter days. A bit of a struggle to find nice restaurants - but the Ruen Thai on Kennedy bridge is a must. And there were lots of fab coffee shops & patisseries. Christmas markets were beautiful as was Bonn itself.

The hotel was conveniently placed. Check in & check out was easy andthey found my booking easily. The room was large with a seating area, desk, a small kitchenette suitable for preparing simple meals - plus agood sized bed and well appoiinted bathroom. The room would be ideal ifspending long periods of time in Bonn, and didn't want to go out to eatall the time. The decor was a bit gloomy, dark wood and bronzed mirrors, perfectly ok, but not to my taste. The tv had plenty of channels -although I could only find 2 in English (not unusual for Germany!) cnnand bbc World. I would stay here again.

Hotel is nicely located close to the old city center and within walking distance from the train station. The room was very nice and cosy, welcoming and very comfortable. It feels you have a mini apartment with sleeping area and a mini living area. The minibar was free (we found out at checkout :-) ) and there are coffe-making facilities in the room - very good idea and very practical, you have coffe in you pj's and feel like home. The atmosfere was warm, we had a very good 3 nights stay there. It looks a lot better than on the internet. They have a chain of hotels in most cities of Germany, I dont know how the others are, but the hotel in Bonn was great.
