People were kind and helpful, giving additional information and making us feel welcome, including picking us up from the station in the middle of the night when there were no taxis. Buffet breakfast was great.

Perfect B&B with very large and clean rooms and a very friendly owner. Only bad thing about this place is the fact that it is 4.5 km away from the nearest U-bahn / S-Bahn, so it is nog an option for backpackers or people travelling by public transport. However if you go to Cologne by car this is the perfect place since it is very cheap (so more money to spend in Cologne) and you can park your car for free at the trainstation from where it is a 15 minute ride into town (your arrive directly at the foot of the Dom).

the place is so beautifully done up, by the owner himself - no less! very classy, very tastfully decorated (artsy). walking into the place is like going into an art studio, going in further along the corridor and into the room is like going into a furniture showroom - everything is so immaculate! smells good, clean. Owner is friendly, though he does not stay there, he waited for us to come in late about 9 pm before he left, very helpful too.
