Excellent gasthof in the centre of town. We enjoyed a good meal in therestaurant and breakfast was good too!

The staff was professional and hospitable. The room was Ok, though somethings could have been cleaner. It's a good solution for a few days staywhen one plans to travel in this area (Romantic Road, Munchen, castlesin the southern part).

This is an old traditional hotel with a very high standard of decor andgood facilities including an indoor swimming pool. A mountain viewwhilst swimming was a first for us. The room had a lovely Alpine viewfrom the balcony. The breakfasts were superb with a huge range ofvarious foods on offer. If travelling by train, as we were, it isadvisable to take a bus from the station which stops a short walk fromthe hotel.

Staff were generally acceptable but could definitely make more of an effort to be friendly except for Julia on reception who was a real asset to the Hotel. Her attitude and manner was exceptional and made up for all the other reception staff who were generally cold. Pool area, Sauna and games room a real benefit especially if you have kids. Breakfast was good. Location is great for proximity to old town centre and main Ski areas. Free WI FI and Free Parking a big plus too.

I liked nearly everything. The location was excellent - quiet &convenient at the same time, within walking distance of almosteverything. The fact that breakfast was included in the price and it wasa good buffet with excellent multilingual service was very good, andthat the same ticket provided for breakfast service included free busservice around town for the day was incredible. There was actually agourmet restaurant on-site (something I had not counted on), which wasan outstanding feature. The hotel itself was attractive and wellmaintained. The staff was very professional and pleasant to deal with.There was free parking on-site, something hard to come by in Germany.

Breakfast was amazing. Shower was brilliant. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Mini bar was reasonably priced. Garmische was a great place to visit and the hotel is located in a few minutes walk from the centre of town and about 15 - 20 mins walk from the main train station (only 1.5 hours from Munich HBF). We were only there for a few days but could have stayed for much longer.

The hotel was traditional with a modern blend with good quality bedrooms and shower facilities.The public rooms were also very presentable.The breakfasts were of very good quality with a range of choices including some local specialities.The breakfast room also had a good terrace facility with garden and mountain views. Good location with only a short walk to the centre of town.Excellent value for money.

The rooms were a comfortable size. A mini fridge is fully stocked with a variety of beverages. The breakfast room was gorgeous as well as the staff. The location was perfect! Close to the pedestrian : shopping area ( a 5min walk ) and loads of walking paths right out the back door. The hotel includes a private parking space and a lounge area out back. The kids could play on the swing set and trampoline while parents relaxed with other guest. Best place in town!
