Comfortable, very clean, very helpful staff who spoke good English. Sauna and whirlpool available. Hotel has a lift. Good breakfast too. Easy to find, and close to the motorway.

Easy access by car from a3 Autobahn (take exit Passau Süd and drivestraight on till you see the hotel after a few km on your right). Ourarrival at midnight was no problem at all. Hotel beds are comfortable.

Very easy to find, straight from the motorway. The bistro offersgood food, big portions and not very expensive. Rooms are big,clean and confortable. There are a lot of parking spaces. Staffwere very friendly.

The hotel is wonderfully positioned in the centre of the old town of Passau, within walking distance of all sights, shopping and the railway station. The room was extremely comfortable, and immaculately kept. The staff were wonderful, we were given champagne on arrival, and assisted in every way possible. The cost of our stay was budget-priced, but first-class value.

We found the hotel to be in a very convenient location for walking around the old city of Passau. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff was helpful and did speak enough English that we were able to get our questions answered. The breakfast buffet was a good selection of cheeses, meats, cereals, scrambled & soft boiled eggs, fresh fruits, breads, juices and hot coffee or tea. The room overlooked the river and we did not have problems with noise as the river cruise boats boarded and de boarded passengers.

We left our river cruise and literally walked across the street and into the hotel, very convenient. We had stopped by the day before while shopping to check to see if we could store our luggage before check-in and they knew our name, they were expecting us the next day. The next day when we did arrive with luggage the person at the desk said "Mr. and Mrs. M?" as we approached the desk. It felt very nice to be expected. The room was very clean and we had a view of the Danube. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne, it was lovely. This is a great location for anyone visiting the Christmas Market in Passau or for those leaving the river cruises.

The hotel was clean, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful,and the breakfast was excellent with a good choice of foods. It was aneasy walk to shopping facilities and the old town of Passau, and thetrain station was very accessible over a footbridge. We have nohesitation in recommending this hotel as value for money. December 2011.

This was a great hotel in the City of Passau. Only a short 10 minutewalk from the old city center. The staff were both friendly and veryaccommodating. The facility has been renovated and it shows, everythingwas nice, clean and in working order. We had a large room on the thirdfloor with a great cross breeze. The breakfast buffet was worth theextra 7e per day--lots of fruit, and Bavarian treats.

The staff at this hotel were exceptionally helpful. The whole hotel iswelcoming,very well run and staff are prepared to assist you in any waythey can. There is a fantastic library/lounge area that is a delightfularea as are the outside tables looking over the danube. The rooms werereally comfortable with good beds,armchair sitting area and windowsthat open onto the view of the Danube. The Breakfast buffet has a lotof choice.

Right in the heart of passau, on the river, an elegant, beautifullydecorated, hotel. Very attentive staff, ready to accomodate anyreasonable request (a group of 20 american travelers asked whether theycould have their breakfast/lunch pack prepared so that they could leaveearlier than the usual breakfast starting time. Without batting aneyelash, they were told that they would open the kitchen an hour and ahalf earlier, to accomodate them!) highly recommended!

Chose this hotel based on it's excellent reviews which are welldeserved. Lovely hotel situated next to river, close to boat trips,cathedral and Christmas market. Train station 15 -20 minutes walk. Allhotel staff very efficient, friendly and helpful. Clean, well maintainedrooms with nice decor. Buffet breakfast with wide selection, includedhot food, which was always well stocked by very attentive staff.Breakfast available until 11am at week-ends. Would definately recommendthis hotel and intend to use again in the near future.

Closeness to the Danube, to the local bus stop(50 metres) and supermarket (100 metres).A light bright room but a little bit small.A very good breakfast was included.There was a lift and a free car park very near the pension..

It was a good location for us as we were cycling the danube path and it was enroute. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were very helpful.Our bikes were locked in a unerground garage over night. The room was clean and the balcony was an added bonus . The style of the hotel reflected the owners taste with bright tasteful arrangements displayed around the office area and the stairs it made you feel welcomed. The breakfast room was bright and the breakfast was good.

We enjoyed both the price and the location - for walks along the Inn andthe proximity to the old town. No one had informed us about the check-inprocedure if we planned to arrive after 6pm. Fortunately, I emailedinforming reservations that we would be arriving around 7pm so was thengiven the codes for the keypad. I think your general information shouldinclude this warning. We were overnighting before our Danube cruise. Thebreakfast was good and got us going on our way. The staff was helpfulwith taxis and information. Thank you, Blaire Walker

Our room was spacious with a nice bathroom and water pressure etc in the shower was good. Breakfast offered good variety; bike storage was good and secure; beds were comfortable (two singles with two single doonas, put 'together') and the owners pleasant and welcoming. A bit of a hill to get to the pension but it is worthwhile. You can get a meal nearby but there are more options over the river in the heart of the town.
