The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us when we arrived with two tired small children in an unfamiliar environment. The accomodation was quaint and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was good value. The free off road parking was also an added bonus. I honestly couldn't fault the place!

Location was perfect within walking distance of Christmas markets, shopsand restaurants. The bedroom was huge - more like an appartment than aquad - kitchen was really useful as we did not eat breakfast in hotel.The beds were the best I have ever slept in. Because of an eveningflight home, the hotel stored our luggage whilst we were out all day onour final day

Hotel Am Jokobsmarkt primarily for its location and price. Theunexpected find was the extremly helpful desk staff. One of us left apassport on the bus from Prague to Nuremburg. Suzanne at the front deskwas very helpful in making phone calls and locating the passport. Theroom was clean and comfortable for the price. As we didn't spend muchtime in the room, it was perfect for our needs. Would recommend andwould definately stay again.

Good location close to the city, underground station and buses, but in a relatively quiet side street. Spotlessly clean, well furnished (even a microwave and kettle in a 'kitchenette' area, and complimentary drinks in the fridge). Lovely Breakfast Pavillion, and there is also a restaurant attached. I did not try the sauna this time but maybe next time - I am sure I will use the hotel again.

I liked staying at this hotel because it exceeded my expectations.Whenyou book something online you don't really know what it will belike.When I walked into my room I was completely surprised,it was likegoing into a luxurious up & downstairs self catering apartment.I Alsovery much welcomed the two free becks beer put in my fridge everyday.iwould use this chain of hotels in other cities in Germay.A 20Min walkfrom the main railway stn.

This is the 2nd year running we have stayed here for the rock im park festival , this is an excellent location in the city centre , and extremely good value for money , what you get is an apartment of sorts , which means you can do your own food etc , always spotlessly clean , rooms have a wee balcony , and the complimentary 2 bottles of water and 2 bottles of beer everyday is a nice touch . Beer for breakfast!!!!!! when in rome!!!! Thanks again , see you next year

The hotel is child friendly although the primairy use is for business stays. We used the hotel for a in between stop to Austria and it was good value for money. Basically I do not think that this hotel is suitable for a longer stay other than business (conferencing).

Hotel is vastly overpriced for it's amenities, however, staff attitude was excellent in all areas. In particular the general manager went out of his way to accommodate our problem with lack of taxi availability by taking us into the city centre in his own car, to facilitate a business meeting we had. No doubt the staff at the hotel took their lead from him.

The room was just your normal Novotel hotel room, spacious enough for 3 people for a couple of nights, but you wouldn't want to stay too long or it would get too cramped. The really good thing about this hotel was it's facilities; there is a nice pool, a computer for free internet access in the lobby, and an xbox set up for the kids to use (this was a hit with our son!). I was very impressed with the lobby area, it was the best I had seen at a Novotel. We also got a really good rate through booking.com, so we were very pleased with the overall experience.

Located on a quaint and quiet street, yet only a 5-minute walk to the Imperial Castle and the market/shopping area. For a centrally-located hotel, the quality and value are unbelievable! The staff were warm and welcoming; they helped us park our large van outside the hotel, and -- because AirBerlin lost our luggage -- they provided us with toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, and robes. The breakfast spread was among the best I've had in any German hotel. I am definitely staying here again the next time I am in Nürnberg.

The location was great. Within 5 minutes walking distance to theChristmas market, shopping areas, museums, city castle, etc. Greatrestaurants surrounding the hotel for lunch/dinner. The hotel'sbreakfast was great! I've lived in Europe for 3 years and travelled tomany hotels, but the selection at this hotel was above and beyond whatmost offer. The staff was extremely helpful; the value for the locationand service makes the price perfect. My teenage son enjoyed thesauna/whirlpool in the evenings, the wi-fi was fast and free! There aretoo many good things to say. I will definitely use this hotel again!

Although it is one of the furtherest hotels in the old city from thebahnhof, we found it within easy walking distance, but used taxi becauseof heavy luggage. Very quiet location, near castle, Alfred Drurer'shouse and easy walking distance from sights in the old city. We foundthe room very comfortable, much more spacious than a similarly pricehotel in Zurich old town that we have stayed in. The breakfast buffethad everything we could want & was kept well supplied during the openinghours. Spacious breakfast & hospitality rooms well supplied with books,pamphlets, comfortable seating. Internet service available free in roomswith computer available in one of the hospitality rooms for free use.There was even a small garden patio setting & tiny lawn for sunbathing.We enjoyed our visit to Nurnberg & Hotel Agneshof so much that we arecoming back in 2012. The staff was all very helpful & friendly.

This is an excellent hotel. Clean, modern, comfortable with well equipped rooms. The location is very convenient, near the station but not noisy. The staff are very friendly and professional. One of the best hotels I have stayed in in Germany.

We found the hotel to be extremely comfortable. The bed was perfect and there was no city noise during the night. We didn't try the breakfast as there are plenty of nice bakeries within walking distance and the check-out time of noon meant we didn't have to rush on the day we left.

This is an excellent hotel. Clean, modern, comfortable with well equipped rooms. The location is very convenient, near the station but not noisy. The staff are very friendly and professional. One of the best hotels I have stayed in in Germany.

Hotel is located in a street with discos and gogo bars. Even though we had a room towards the street, we were not disturbed by any noise. Hotel is aged and a bit run-down. Rooms are small but tidy. Breakfast was good. To conclude, despite the very central location, we considered the price (90 Euros with breakfast for one night during christmas market period) too high for the value.

Good localization nearby main train station, walking distance almosteverywhere, excelllent connection by metro-system. Interestingneighbourhood, hotel appears to be in so called red light district andthus you should be ready for some noise at street in the night time, butI did not see this as a major issue. Good breakfast and friendly staff.You can leave car on the multistorey car-park just few steps from thehotel's door.

The hotel is central. Shops cafes and bars abound the area is full ofamazing architecture.The new blending in with the old a credit to thecity fathers. The breakfast excellent beds really comfortable. Carparking is a short walk away and secure. Not reccomended for familiesas the gogo bars are next door and a sex shop opposite but ignoringthose a nice clean place to stay. The bedrooms are small but serve thepurpose of sleep.

Great Location, the Old Town is about 5 minutes walk away and ThirdReich Troop Rally Grounds 5 mins by car. I thought the Price was veryreasonable, unless you have the optional Breakfast, at 12 Euros each.Bit expensive for myself. If you take the Hotel Parking, be warned thatthe Parking (about 5 spaces) is through a Very narrow passage way, tothe back of the Building where parking is also Very Tight.

Although the terms of the reservation did not require the hotel to give me a refund for the first day which I was unable to be there for due to air travel, they allowed me to stay an extra day for the lost first day.That was excellent customer service and it was much appreciated. The hotel is very conveniently located across from old town and near the main train station. There was also ample parking right next to the hotel. free wi-fi is an outstanding perk.... All of the staff that I interacted with were friendly and helpful...

We were on a river cruise and our return flight to the United States wascancelled due to Hurricane Irene. The purser on our Uniworld shiprecommended NH-Nurnberg City. We were very pleased with theaccomodations. The room was spacious and clean, the front desk staffvery helpful and the cost ws very reasonable. In addition, the location,a short walk to the "Old City" was very convienent.

Hotel was neat, clean, and met all of our expectations. Very convenient to the airport and main train station, and also the "old city" which is one of the primary tourist attractions. Rooms very quiet -- ours (1st floor) was in the back facing away from the main street but think they all would be quiet. Dinner there one evening was very good although a little expensive -- maybe par for the course in a tourist area. Room was 126 euros for two nights.
