The hotel is convenient for the main railway station and the u- and S-Bahn. The staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We had aComfort Room which was very spacious and warm but a little sparselyfurnished. Our room overlooked the back of the hotel and was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was spacious withhigh quality fittings. The decor of the hotel's public areas andcorridors is striking! Breakfast was very good - ample choice of juices, yoghurts, breads, cold meats, cheese and boiled eggs. The breakfast roomstaff were young, polite and very attentive.

Great breakfast selection (though the juices were awful). Late reception/check-in. Deal with fairly nearby hotel for discounted parking. Free reasonably fast wifi in entire hotel. Large comfortable bed and plenty of space for luggage in room's own lobby. Good shower. Very reasonably priced bar in lobby and open late. Drop-off/pick-up bay right outside the hotel door which was perfect for us as we arrived by car with a lot of luggage. Overall a good quality 3* hotel, even though the photos might lead you to believe it looks like a 4*. About 15 mins walk to centre or 25 mins to Marienplatz, so quite a good location.

Very good budget accommodation. Clean & comfortable, with sheets & towels changed daily. Bathroom was big- plenty of hot water in the showers, though bathroom extras such as soap & shampoo was quite basic. Heated towel rack, with plenty of hooks in the bathroom. Found it very good value for money. Close to the station, 15 minutes walk from marienplatz, where most of the good restaurants & shops are. As mentioned before, good hotel, if your' re after budget accommodation. There are no luxury features here, with building & rooms having old, dated furniture with vinyl floors. Breakfast was good & substantial. Staff were friendly & helpful

Excellent hotel, quiet rooms, spacious rooms and bathrooms, lot ofcloset/storage space, our triple room had a nice den extension, excellent location, walk to Marienplatz, variety of restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy close by, close to train station. The negativereviews about this hotel are not accurate. This is not a red light area, there's may be one shop and hard to notice, the area is safe and quiet. The breakfast buffet is awesome, totally worth 14 euros, highlyrecommended for an excellent start of your day. Excellent hotel forfamily with kids.

Friendly & helpful staff in addition to its superb location 5-minute walk to train station & also old city. Just outside the hotel are lovely cafes which open as early as 7AM for breakfast, and also supermarkets as well as good Italian restaurants within 10-minute leisurely walk. Very clean & spacious rooms & bathrooms. A desktop computer beside the lobby for guests to use for free. It is a real 4-star hotel but costing slightly less than 3-star hotel. Great value for money. from a matured couple from Borneo Island

The Hotel is right in Munchen Airport. Only 2min. From the Air terminal. We could enjoy shopping and dinner in Munchen city so easily, since ittook only half an hour from the Hotel by S-bahn of which group-ticket wecould get at the Hotel reception desk. Most of all, how we felt lucky tofind 'Weiss Burst (Munchen white sausages)' at the breakfast table ofthe Hotel. We'd never dreamt we'd have such a deluxe buffet at such aneaby and convenient Hotel to the Airport.

For my wife and I, the hotel was in a good location (attached to the airport), as we were staying overnight only in Munich. Our rate included an excellent breakfast buffet and a free newspaper. The staff was also very professional and friendly. For overnight stays only, an excellent choice, as there is also a mall, dining, and shopping right next to the hotel. If you want to visit the tourist beer gardens in downtown Munich, stay there, as a taxi from this hotel is $60 US one-way.

When you are considering to stay in Kempinski Airport Munich you shouldweighting two main features: it is very far from Munich Downtown, but itis actually "inside" the airport. Thus, if you need just a one singleday stay (or overnight), this is your best choice in Munich (if you aretravelling by air). You will not find a hotel near the airport with acompetitive rate. For instance, the Holliday Inn Express charges you119€ (including shuttle to the airport and breakfast), it is 19€ lessthan Kempinsky (which does not include breakfast), but Kempinsky is morequiet, offers many near options to have some meal, is next to a shoppingmall, is more confortable and you will be inside the airport. But if youintend to stay more than one day in Munich, consider that the train fromairport to downtown is 20€ (go and return) and it takes 40 min to getthere. The girls in the reception desk are extremelly professional, helpful and kind, and because of them you feel like being in a 5-starshotel (also beca

The hotel is located on a silent small street. From it it is possible to reach on foot the center. It is good for stay 1-2 days. A parking 10 euros covered near to hotel a day (for those who does not live in hotel 20 euros). It was pleasant to meet the compatriot on a reception (we are from Russia). Very pleasant interlocutor, has given the exhaustive information.

Located 2 minutes walking distance from main train station. Walking distance from center of the city. This is a budget hotel, perfect solution for inexpensive roof over one;s head. Breakfast on bottom floor is generous and worth 9 Euros. WiFi no longer free, but 2 Euros for 24 hours is well worth it. My room was pretty quiet - the hotel is tugged behind the first hotel row facing the train station directly.
Megan  — 15.1.2012
This hotel is literally a three minute walk from the main train station in Munich and a 10 minute walk to the city center. The location was better than I had anticipated and for the price, it was a great find! The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and there is no need for public transportation to anywhere. If you are a tourist, the hop-on/off bus is a block away as well, which allows you to see more of the city as well.

The location was wonderful being on a fairly quiet street with access toeverything within a short walking distance to trains, walking tours, great restaurants and markets. The service was excellent and the staffof Katherina, Franseska and Andreas could not have been better. Theywere helpful and went out of their way for us on several occasions tomake sure that we could find our way around the city, always with asmile and without attitude as we have experienced at several otherEuropean hotels of this class. Also the hotel was very clean and well-kept. The grounds were beautiful as well. Our only regret is that we didnot dine at the hotel restaurant.

From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely helpful andfriendly. The hotel is like a hidden gem, looking nothing from theoutside but once through the door everywhere was immaculate andtasteful. We had a garden apartment which looked onto a lovely gardenlit with fairylights at night. We had a small terrace with table andchairs to sit. The room was well apportioned, designed and executed.Exceptionally comfortable bed. I just can't rave about this placeenough! Location was key, within 5 minutes walk of main Rathaus square- great for dropping the shopping bags back and heading out formore!!! Also family friendly - opt for one of the apartments in thegarden when booking.

Best Western Aparthotel Munchen is very comfortable. very clean and modern room and friendly staff. The hotel is only tram ride away from the centre, but we usually reached city center on foot. Room had a kitchen but you actually get no cooking equipment. All in all a good hotel in a fantastic location, would visit again.

The hotel is very good, confortble and also the localization is easy too. I would like only to mention that I sent a message to hotel in order to help me related to the public transportation to get the hotel, however, I did not received any message from them. In this sense for next guess I would like to inform it is possible to acess the hotel although the eletric train line 20 or 21 or by taxi it takes about 10 or 15 minutes from the Central Station to hotel.

It is at a great location, really close to Marienplatz. Our kids agedsix and one welcomed the extra space of an apartment. We also were gladto have fast wi-fi and a washing machine for clothes.

The best part of staying at Medicon Downtown Suites Tal 10 is a tiebetween exactly that, the location and the fact it has a wash machine! The location was fabulous - literally a minute or less to the ViktualienMarkt and maybe 2 minutes from the Glockenspiel and the pedestrianshopping area. Yousri, the person that arranged for someone to stay late(until 11:45pm) and give us the keys, was so very, very nice andaccommodating. He was an excellent communicator, having to exchangeseveral emails with us regarding our arrival time as our flights werecanceled and delayed. The fact that we could stay for the price it waswith 2 families we would consider this apartment again if staying a weekin Munich.

The hotel seems fairly new. Most of the access were controlled by your room key, which is nice (access to the lobby in the evening, elevator, garbage disposal). Free coffee and tea in the lobby around the clock is convenient. Having a tram right across the street and just 5 mins. walk to the S-bahn (which can take you to the airport) is also very convenient.

The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The room was plentybig for our family of four, and it was very clean. We did not use thekitchen but it was also very clean and looked great. There is an S-bahnstop right in front of the hotel. There is also a great beer gardenabout 300 meters from the hotel that serves a good dinner and has agreat playground area for smaller children.

Our accommodation was a self contained studio apartment. I was impressedwith fit out of the studio - everything in it seemed new or in topcondition. It was possible to self cater as a supermarket was situatedclose by. My husband was particularly impressed with the price of theGerman beers (eg .85 euros) at the supermarket. It was a bit far to walkinto town so we bought a daily travel card for 10 euros for the two ofus. The number 16 and 17 trams stop outside. The Nymphenburg Palace wasonly a shortish trame ride away. The Augustine beer house was withinwalking distance however and is recommended for a meal.

I was in Munich for a very large trade show, but I decided pretty lateto attend, so hotels in my budget range within 50km of Munich were allbooked. So the thing I most liked about Pension Seibel was that they hada room! The other major bonus is that it is a very pleasant 5 minutewalk from Marienplatz, the main square in the centre of Munich, so youhave quick access to all the major beerhalls, and a similar distance toFraunhofer Strasse for the u2 line to the Exhibition Messe. All that forunder 50 Euros during a massive trade show.

My favourite thing about the hotel was the guy on reception as we checked out. He was a jolly and funny lump, that made us go to the cash point rather than pay by credit card because it suited him better!!! Ultimately he was very helpful although I cant help but think that had more than a little bit to do with him looking straight at my missus chest for most of the conversation!!! .........As we left we nearly forgot to give him back the room keys and he came out with a blinder!!! ...." So! You are keeping the keys then?” Hilarious!!!

I've read lots of comments about this place, unfortunately the most wereunpleasant, which I can say it was not soo true!! Of course peoplesopinions are different, but honestly it was a Great Place!!! Thelocation is the best, I stayed 10 nights , the location gave me acces toeverything; I never thought I will have such a wonderful vacation. Theplace is in typical Bavarian style, very nice! The room clean with verycomfortable bed, breakfast delicious. The staff were very friendly, Iguess I had the luck to be around good people. If you get in Munich thatis for sure that this place is the best at it's price and location! Mybest regards and Danke Schon to everybody, Cristina

We were in Munich for Oktoberfest so the price of the hotel room was higher than normal, but that is to be expected. The rooms are small, but clean. About a 10-minute walk from the underground rail system, and about a 20 minute ride on the system to the Marienplatz. Breakfast was good although not included in the room price - 6.90 euro per person. This is our second time staying with the B&B chain hotel (Hahn Airport - Frankfurt) and would not hesitate to stay at another of these hotels.

The room was a nice size and the location was great, it was close to theTrain station, which went into Munich. The staff was very helpful, showing a map, explaining the working of the trains etc.. When I couldnot get the wi fii working the desk staff ( I am sorry I cannot rememberhis name) He was again very helpful and got everything up and running..The three days we were there the Afternoon evening front desk clerk wasgreat, he was friendly, polite, asking if everything was good and if weneeded anything..Could not have asked for better service.

The room was very clean (they changed linens every day), staff was excellent (they even opened the kitchen for us at night when I asked a hot water to drink), the location was very good - the tram station is in front of the hotel. Also, about noise - I've read reviews here and was prepared for a very noisy place. But it was not so noisy as I expected, even during the New Year Eve. Maybe because we lived far from the discotheque - we didn't here it at all.

Internet access from every room! Single room offers (price is verygood), very clean room, shared wc and showers are very clean too, andbus/tramways/u-bahn (suburban trains) are very near (bus/tramway just infront of the hotel, suburban train a little further but near too), everycommodities very accessible (everything is very near to the hotel: mcdo, supermarkets, pharmacies, bars, restaurants, libraries, etc...). What isnice too is that we have a non-shared sink in each rooms (for water andto wash teeths), and a configurable radiator with thermostat. It's verynice in fact, very comfortable. And we've got a big square table in eachroom to be able to work.

I like that there's the kitchen where we could cook food and refrigerator but we also had to share with other guests. Many people wanted to use oven at dinner time. The lift was quite good if not it's impossible to stay in 6th floor without it. The location wasn't so much far form train station but it wasn't near as published in web site. Really tried with big luggages if walking form train station. The room was clean.

Close to Central Rail station and 5mins walk from Hackerbrucke stationnext stop from Munich Hbf. Great beer hall and restaurant directlyopposite the hotel. Good meals great beer and home made pretzels, I justcan't remember the name. However I asked the Minger Hotel (my pet namefor The Meininger Hotel) front staff about it and he said that it was arestaurant only, and suggested to me a small corner bar at the end ofthe street for a drink. Not helpful at all. Breakfast wasn't too bad butvery busy.
