We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. The staff are friendly andpolite. We stayed in the newer part and the room was very generous insize with huge windows overlooking the City and Valley below... Justgorgeous at this time of the year with all the Autumn Colours. Breakfast was included in the price and was very enjoyable. The Hotel is a bit away from the City but the distance to Heidelberg Castle is walk able IF you're agile. To get to the City you will need transport. Parking in the City isn't expensive and there are numerous parking stations available I would definitely stay at Parkhotel again

The hotel is located beautifully. It is an old villa with one modern part. We have stayed in the old part - the "economy double" was it called. The room was clean but one could see the last renovation was long time ago. However it was very pleasant and spacious with a fast W-LAN connection for free. Dogs are welcome with no additional fee and you will have enough possibilities to go with it for a walk. The hotel is somehow hidden in the trees and the atmosphere there was very relaxed and calm. It's a great place for all people beside those who want to party all the time. Within short walking distance (around 15 minutes) one reaches the Heidelberg castle. Parking is for free either just in front of the entrance or at the street. Ah, and there was a mini bar in the room - with prices which won't shock you. The breakfast was just gorgeous. The breakfast room super pleasant.

We got a double room. It was big, nicely (and simply) decorated, with avery nice bathroom, a balcony over a small rose garden and a view oftreetops, old houses and a forested hill in the distance. Not astreetlight in view. It was incredibly peaceful, not a sound. The bedwas comfortable and spacious. Everything was spotless. We were amazed atthe value for money. As for parking, there was room in the street, butwe decided to pay the 11€ and park in the hotel's underground parking.They allowed us to leave the car there even after we had checked out,which came in handy. The location of the hotel is simply *amazing*, soclose to the center, and yet so quiet. The staff was nice enough andwhen we asked for a nice restaurant they sent us to Michelangelo, a verynice Italian restaurant that rounded up a perfect evening. All in all,an extremely enjoyable experience, highly recommended. If I ever go backto Rothenburg I know where I'll be staying.

We had booked a double room with a view of the river Neckar, which thehotel is situated on and I would recommend this type of room. The roomwas very comfortable and very clean. The hotel has a very nice terraceat the back, next to the river, a great place to sit and have a drinkor a meal.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and the room was fantastic. Beds were the best we slept in, in Europe. We had access to the business lounge which gave us free continental breakfast each morning and then from 5:30pm to 9:30pm light snacks and all drinks free including beer, wine, etc. Hotel had great access to everything from shopping, castle, restaurants and auto bahn. Hotel sits right on the neckar river which is beautiful.

The executive suite was great. A large living room, a really comfortable queen size bed and a massive balcony overlooking the river. Plus access to the executive lounge, free drinks and nibbles in the evening plus breakfast. The breakfast was ok, but seating was limited. We ate in the hotel restaurant, the staff were very attentive and the food perfect. We visited the christmas market ( about a 20 minute walk from the hotel ), and plan to visit Heidelberg again in the summer, and plan to stay at The Marroitt.

We chose Neckartal Heidelberg because it offered a family-sized suite.It was quite spacious and comfortable (though not particularlyattractive). The hotel is several kilometers away from Heidelberg centerand was very quiet. It's right next to a transit stop. Parking was free.Staff was very nice.

The staff was incredibly friendly and my room was simply exceptional inits design and quality, especially considering the hotel has only a 3-star rating officially (I had worse rooms in 5-star hotels). There isfree WiFi in the rooms, which always a big plus. Hotel guests can alsouse the fitness and sporting facilities for free!

Free parking beside the hotel was a bonus. The apartment provided ourparty with much needed space following our previous 10 nights in acaravan in the Black Forest region! The staff were pleasant and allspoke excellent English. Although situated approximately 5km from theOld Town the hotel is convenient to both the railway and a bus route.The staff recommended we use the bus which we did, a 24 hour pass forthe whole family costing under 10 Euros. Buses pass every 20 minutes.Whilst the hotel was close to the railway and main road there was nonoise to disturb our peace.
