Exceptional hospitality, child friendly, nothing appeared to much trouble.. Food was good quality matched with a substantial continental breakfast. Plain simple clean rooms. Waldhaus is not the Ritz but good old fashioned, good value accomodation. I will revisit on my next Germany holiday

We were travelling to Austria and needed a place to stay in Germany tobreak up the journey. Hotel Waldhuas is conveniently situated a shortdrive from the autobahn.The owners were very friendly and made us feelwelcome. We ate at the hotel and the food was excellent. The beds werevery comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast wasplentiful with a choice of meats, breads and fruit and an assortment ofdrinks. We would not hesitate to return.

Excellent Gasthof in the old style - lovely, big. comfortable room with excellent bathroom and great views, good food and drinks at very reasonable prices, one of the best breakfasts we have ever experienced and very welcoming owners and staff. Easily accessible from the Frankfurt - Wurzburg motorway. Car parking was good and the hotel is in a quiet hamlet, so very peaceful. A little gem, in short, and excellent value!

A super and friendly hotel. The menu and menu was excellent, breakfast was an absolute treat too. The rooms and bathrooms are superbly gross, absolutely brand new and spotlessly clean so let's thank the cleaning staff too! Once complete, this hotel should bear a four star and a very well deserved one at that. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay a pleasant one - we look forward to our next visit.

The hotel, which is in the German countryside and also close to thenature, exceeded my expectations thanks to its spacious and clean roomsand designed in accordance with the latest trends bathrooms. Therestaurant inside the hotel offers exquisite specialties, which areunbelievably tasty. After adding the wonderful breakfast and thepersonnel's friendly and polite attitude towards their guests, I couldcertainly say that this hotel became my favorite place for relaxation.

This hotel was a stopover on a long drive. It is ideally located a few kilometres off the A3 motorway, in a very pretty and tranquil landscape. The part of the hotel where we stayed is brand new, all is super clean and very proper, large rooms and bathrooms. We were travelling with a 6 month old baby and the hotel staff could not be more helpful - starting from an upgrade, to bringing a part of the dinner to our room as the little one stopped enjoying the restaurant (unlike her parents). Breakfast was superb, minus the coffee. We booked the suite for the journey back :-)

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay in this hotel. In fact we rated it thebest of the seven hotels we stayed in during our holiday in Germany. Thestaff were charming and helpful as we had sometimes struggled tocommunicate in German.Would definitely return here when we next holidayin this area, which in itself was a beautiful unknown (to us Brits) areaof a most interesting country. Booked for one night and extended tothree - tells it's own story!

A beautiful little hotel, with a good kitchen (dinner excellent, breakfast average). Room was good size with wonderful views over the forests.

A very pleasant spot and within easy reach of the Schloss. Good valuefor money particularly as I went half pension. If travelling on your own with a car you definitely need a sat nav to find this hotel.

The hotel was excellent in every respect -top quality and very passionate about their hotel - great location and food and service -absolutely a fantastic hotel and this was our 12th hotel in 2 weeks in Europe and definitely one of the best!!
