Just a short distance from Ludwigsfelde by car where a reasonable train service runs into Berlin City. Train fare is 3 Euros single from Ludwigsfelde to Berlin. The hotel rooms were very clean and all in all I thought it was excellent value for money.

Right next to the motorway, easy to find.Car security. Meals if you want them. Receptionist had limited English and I have No German but everyone tried and we were settled in quick. Information in the rooms in English. Room was clean .The Children enjoyed the stop. Centre Of Berlin Not that far. Fast food opposite if you choose, they speak English. Will be stopping there next year, as it was so easy this year. Oh and very quiet .

The hotel has a little unusual topology. It consists of three buildings, the reception and the two "blockhauses" with rooms. While it's just a novelty during the summer, in colder weather you have to remember to put something on before rushing for breakfast. Instead of key, you get a code to your room door [works with front door also]. The staff is friendly, but they leave before 10pm so expect some effor to get the code to your room if you arrive later than that, you have to call staff then; a sign with the phone # can be seen from the outside. For those low on budget, they can skip breakfast at the hotel [nothing fancy] and use McDonald's located 50m from the hotel. Since this hotel is far away from railstation, the hotel's no use for those without a car, but I guess it's obvious, since Berliner Ring autobahn is just outside the buildings. We've used to drive to Südkreuz and leave car there, at P+P, and enjoy the city on a 6+ Euro 24-hour public transport ticket.

We stayed at the hotel because it's close to the old Tempelhof airportwhich is now being used for trade shows - we visited this hotel asbusiness travellers. Given the price level, the breakfast was quite ok;we have had considerably worse at this price level. The room appearedclean and fresh, although it is very basic and quite small. Thereception staff were helpful and friendly. Most of the people staying atthe hotel are below the age of 20 - not a problem but it's worth knowingthat this is a youth hotel.

It is not an average type of hotel. To reach the reception you have togo inside the second courtyard and take the lift to the fourth floor,but once you have found it, you will experience a very relaxingatmosphere were staff is very friendly. The interior is decorated in anindustrial style matching the architecture of the building. The largefamily rooms with five beds, high ceiling and large windows are pleasantto stay. You won't find any unnecessary standard hotelroom itemslike a television set or phone in the room. You can enjoy a nicebreakfast buffet in a pleasant light room. I can recommend this hotelfor casual people (small group of friends or family) who don't needluxury to feel satisfied, but simply need a good place to spend somenights in Berlin. Plenty of good restaurants in the neighbourhood and asubway station (U-Bahn) at walking distance.

We stayed there for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time there. Thestaff were very friendly and helped us find some good things/ tours todo. The main thing was that this place is immaculately clean. Hugerooms, good heating and very safe.

The manager/owner Adrian was fantastic. Spoken very good English and was extremely helpful and friendly. Location was not bad although at times (night) the area felt a little unsafe.Breakfast was quite good.

The hotel staff was very accommodating in every way. The manager,Adriaan, spoke excellent English, met us the evening we arrived andduring our stay, made sure we had everything we needed. The room wasjust as advertised, no frills, but clean and quiet, with verycomfortable beds. A lovely breakfast buffet was included in the price.Hotel was close to U-bahn and 10-15min. Walking distance to Kulturforum,Sony center, Tiergarten. I must add a special note as well here. Oneevening we had been out all day and had returned without having eaten,were met by Adriaan, who had spontaniously made a hot dinner/buffet forsome guests and generously invited us to join them, on the house!
