The friendliness of the welcome coupled with the owner's sense of humourgot our stay off to a great start. The Baltic is close to thehauptbahnhof and within easy walking distance of the historic centre ofLubeck. For the budget conscious it is excellent value with a greatbreakfast spread included in the price. A little noisy at times as it isnear the central bus terminal, but thoroughly recommended.

We booked the hotel for its location - it was just opposite the trainand bus station. It was also within 10 minutes' walk of the Old Town andthe shopping area. The bathroom facilities were very clean and includedplenty of towels and a hair dryer. The breakfast was great - a widerange of foods and a good supply of each one. For non-German speakers,the hosts also speak English and can give tips on what to see. We wereable to leave our luggage at the hotel while we went sightseeing on thelast morning, as our train did not leave until midday. We used theonline feedback to help in our selection.

The location of the Baltic Hotel was excellent.....just a couple ofminutes walk from the train station and only 5 minutes into town and theshops and restaurants. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Alovely breakfast was also included in the room price.....cereal, bread,a variety of cheeses, cold meats, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. Afterchecking out, I could leave my luggage at the hotel until I needed toleave. The proprietor was very friendly.... Offerring a map of the city,directions, and suggested walks in the city. I was travelling on my ownand felt very welcome and comfortable staying at the Baltic Hotel. Iwould have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again and wouldrecommend it to anyone travelling to Lubeck!

We had a pleasant room at the front with a very large bathroom and a great view over the river and city gate. Friendly, helpful staff. Good, frequently replenished buffet breakfast. Very good restaurant (under separate management) attached to the hotel where we ate on both evenings.

Great Location. Very helpful staff . Provided us with help purchasing our train tickets and recommended a wonderful place for dinner. Our whole family stayed at the hotel. We had a single room , a double room and a suite room. I would get the suite again. It is a little bit more , but, so worth the extra amount. Overall, it was a very nice hotel.

The location is great--just a few minutes on foot to the Holstentor citygate, the Marienkirche and Rathaus. The children's facilities are excellent--there is a outdoor playground by the tavern Kogge and a lego and toyplay area between Kogge and the Nautilo restaurant. The breakfast was ofa very good quality and was well worth the special all-inclusive rate wepaid for the room. The room was very comfortable and featured a sofa bythe window.

While maybe not a 5 star in terms of the rooms, the hotel provides excellent service, friendly staff and is not trying to charge you for every little extra service. We arrived at 3am in the morning and the receptionist straight away said they would only charge us for half a night the first night. Kids, if you have any eat for free until the age of 12 if the parents eat as well. Can fully recommend this hotel. It is also just 2 minutes away from the beautiful Holsteintor and 5 minutes walk to the centre of Lubeck, with the old Rathaus etc. Enjoy your stay!

We stayed there for one night. The location is superb, you can easily walk from the hotel to the city center and the famous turists attractions. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, the deco is elegant and bathroom with proper bath tub and big and deep enough. We can see St. Marien Church right from our room. There is free solarium and finnish sauna, but no stemming room. The pool is rather small compare to the size of this hotel. Gym is great and has wonderful view while running on the trade mill. Breakfast is good. Guests have free parking. Room 1036 is great !

This is a very friendly comfortable hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed stayinghere. It was extremely clean and we were lucky to be upgraded to suitesat the same room rate we had been quoted for bedrooms. We enjoyed adelicious buffet breakfast each day The hotel is very close to the OldTown which has plenty or restaurants and shops. The staff are efficient,kind and helpful and there is private parking for 6 euros per day. Itfelt safe and homely. Thank you Hotel Lindenhof for making our holidayso enjoyable.

Our room was spacious and very clean. The hotel is ideally located on a quiet little street off a main road, a few minute's walk to the train station in one direction & the old town of Lubeck in the other. There was a nice selection of breakfast foods offered each morning. On our departure day, we left the hotel before 6:00 a.m., but did not leave hungry - the night porter poured us a fresh coffee to go, & handed us a bag "lunch" that saw us through both breakfast & lunch because of its generous proportions & variety. The staff was friendly & helpful, offering us restaurant suggestions & tourist information. Also, internet at Hotel Lindenhof is free! I would definitely stay here again.

The pension is not new but very comfortable and not so far the center ofthe town.the room are big and clean.the same for the rest room. Theowners are so kind and the breakfast is very good. We had a nice time inpension koglin. I suggest the pension to anyone who want to visit lubeckand hamburg and don't want to spent a lot!

We had a lovely stay at Pension Koglin. The couple who own it are veryfriendly. The room was modern and kept immaculately clean during our 5day stay. The breakfast is really good. The old town is about a 25minute walk, but we were prepared for this having read previous reviews.The area around Koglin is fairly quiet and comfortable to walk througheven at night. We would recommend a stay here.

Staff were very kind and respectful, the hotel was nice and quiet. We called to inform that we would arrive later than established check-in time and they didn't have problems for this. The room was simply but nicely decorated, big and comfortable. Bathroom was also nice and comfortable to use. The breakfast was also very good. It is not so close to the center, however in our case this was not a problem at all, as we stayed only one night and had our car.

Very big apartment with beautiful windows view, new design, well-equipped kitchen, the owner is very kind , he is in hotel only when he gives your key, despite some opinions in booking.com rooms have good temperature and they are very clean, and what is the best best thing - location is perfect: only 300 m to buddenbrooks house and marienkirche

The location is ideal since it is near central train station and near the city center. The apartment is bright and facilities were also impressive. The kitchen had all the necessary things like cooking utensils, oven (not microwave), fridge, and a very nicely built kitchen. The bathroom had also necessary items including hair dryer. All the furniture and fixtures in the apartment were from IKEA, hence were of good quality. The internet is available for 2.5€ per day and has a very decent speed. All you need is something you want to cook or eat and the rest is available in the apartment. Ideal for couples who want to stay there for some days to see the city and nearby towns, and ofcourse the beach (travemünde, can go there by bus 40 and 30 which have a bus stop on the same road.)
