The location was right on the waterfront and conveniently located. Weate in the hotel restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The servicewas good and the food delicious. Although our room did not have a view,it was quite spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large wtih twosinks and a tub/shower combination.

Excellent location, just a stone throw away from the train station andthe harbor. I chose this hotel in order to be close to the start line ofthe Bodensee 3 country marathon race. In fact, the starting point of therace happened to be right outside the main door of the hotel!! The oldtown is simply beautiful to walk around its narrow cobble stoned alleyswith plenty of good dining options.

- Location of the hotel is perfect. Taking the sea-view room, you`ll get a fantastic view on the lake and the famous lighthouse.- The place itself is also very nice and accessible by car and also very close to the train station. There is a covered parking, secured during the night (though it`s not free, which is in my opinion not a good thing for a hotel of such level). - The rooms are big, with nice new fourniture, room-service is good. - Breakfast is pretty rich. - Stuff is friendly and ready to help Remarkable, that the hotel is very quite during the night, as well as the day, even though during the Christmas time there is a Xmas fair near the hotel.

WeI really liked the setting of the hotel. The house is a very well renovated 'Jugendstil' villa, Our room was spacious and well set up with a great bathroom. The view over the lovely garden towards the lake and the Alps made for a real holiday feel. The atmosphere was pleasant with the staff being very helpful and available when needed. The breakfast room - a very extensive 'wintergarden' glass-domed room extending into the garden was lovely and we enjoyed a breakfast buffet that catered for many tastes.

A very pleasant and charming small hotel in a residential/orchard areawith a beautiful garden setting. The staff was friendly andaccomodating. The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful in a glassed-in dining room overlooking the garden. It is a 5-10 minute drive to theLindau Island where you can easily park either just before walking overthe bridge to the island (cheaper) or in one of the 2 parking lots onthe island itself. All-in-all we were very pleased. We would highlyrecommend this hotel.

The owner contacted us an hour or so before our arrival to ensurethat we would be arriving at our designated time. As we were heldup un traffic near Zurich he said he would stay in the office untilwe arrived. The room was large and comfortable, the shower luxurious and the breakfast sumptuous. The hotel was located so that we could take an early morning walk to the lake and village before breakfast then continue our way to Salzburg.

The receptionist was very friendly, and spoke English. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake and the Alps. Free wifi was a plus. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

The staff were superb, Ena teh receptionit waited for us to arrive even though we were 3 hours late, she organised a Taxi to take us for dinner as all places were closed in the vicinity, The staff in nthe morning were equally efficent, friendly and very helpfull. The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms were very comofrtable in a traditional style and were as described in the website. The lcoation was good at 5 minute from the main areas and in a quiet residential area overlooking the lake I would be happy to reccomend this hotel

Good location at edge of entry to island and main town. Very friendlyand helpful owner who spoke very good english. Good breakfast with goodchoice. Comfortable and quiet location. Owners deserve to do well - oneof the first hotels in germany that they made us feel like valued guestsalthough we only stayed 2 days.

We booked this hotel as it was the best value we could find on the island of Lindau which appears to be very pricey. It was a fairly standard hotel but we did warm to it. The room was huge and the bathroom worked well and was also spacious. Being on the island, it is well situated - about five or ten minutes from the waterfront. Breakfast was good, and the staff seemed very friendly.

The staff were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful. The Family Room was very large and much bigger than we might have expected. The breakfast offered was also top rate. The location was perfect and all the attractions of Lindau island were only a short walk away. Overall we had a great stay at the Hotel Garni Brugger and for a 3 star property couldn't have asked for much more.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Well situated on the Insel and overlooks Bodensee. Secure parking. Currently undergoing some refurbishment (which did not disturb us) which is giving the hotel a more contemporary feel without losing its character. Pleasant bar / resturant and terrace area which overlooks Bodensee. We found it by chance the first time and have returned twice since as we liked the character and the peace and quiet which it affords. We have only stayed there in early and mid Spring (as a ski stopover) so out of season, but would imagine it would be very pleasant in the summer. Well situated for exploring the Insel with its small shops and galleries etc and for walking around the lake.

We arrived very late but they awated us and put the keys out for us. The room was beautiful with view to the lake. In the morning they waited for us with the breakfast, so we didn't miss it despite our late getting up. Excellent place!

Superb location with excellent duplex room with harbour view and sittingarea. . Attractive town with good quality shops and cafes - plenty ofboat trips on Lake Constance (Bodensee). Stay of 2 to 3 days would beexcellent.
