The location was fantastic - just a hundred meters or so from the car ferry and another hundred meters from two bus stops. The staff was excellent; when we checked in, the woman at Reception told us that the nightly tax we paid entitled us to free fare on the city's busses, asked what we wanted to see in Konstanz, and then showed us how to use the bus system to get where we wanted. We didn't use our car again until we checked out - by bus, we were just minutes from Mainau and maybe 15 minutes from the Swiss border.

A great location for taking the ferry to Meersburg, a bus to Insel Mainau or a bus into Constance town centre. All are a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and buses are free with a special ticket the hotel gives you. The staff were friendly and there is free parking which is great. The room was clean and the bathroom quite recently redone I imagine-

Location is nice and nights are quiet. Breakfast was nice. Room was big and clean. My room was in the lowest floor and had a little feeling of basement. Staff was friendly. Concierge leaves at around 21:30 so call ahead if you arrive later in the evening.

This hotel combined the most beautiful traditional decor, in Bavarianstyle, with something to delight the eye at every turn, with the most upto date facilities, superb breakfasts and fine dining at night. Theyoung staff were more than friendly and helpful. The hotel is situatedon the intersection of quiet streets at night, very well served by anexcellent bus route.

It was the best value for money I've ever experienced: comfortable,clean, quiet and convenient. The breakfast buffet (included in theprice) was awesome. And don't be fooled by descriptions like "smallsingle room": my room had a double bed, a desk, a fridge, a verycomfortable bathroom and plenty of closet space - not small at all!

The hotel was clean and hotel staff friendly with ability to speak English but some translations as recommendations on sites to see, they did not fully understand the questions asked. The value for the money in comparison to other hotels in the area was good and the breakfast room and variety of foods for breakfast was great.

We had a very nice room with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The staff was very friendly and the location was quiet and quaint. The bus to down town was right across the street and the hotel provided us with a bus pass to travel for free. The train station is only a 10 euro taxi ride to and from the hotel. We also took advantage of the pool and outdoor spa right down the street which the hotel provided us with a 10% discount coupon off admittance. Overall loved our stay and would definitely return.

We found this to be an exceptional place - it was staffed with friendlyand helpful folks who could speak English; our room was spacious and thebeds were comfortable. It was a quiet!! And the views from the lake withthe "therme" just steps away made it a wonderful retreat for us. Thewalk around the lake is exquisite (the trees are so very majestic) andthe water in the lake is clear as a bell!! We will definitely returnwhen opportunity is given!

The location, good quality of everything from state of the house itself to cleanliness of the rooms, all facilities and breakfast. I definitely recommend this hotel for all purposes including holidays - an excellent package of relaxation, wonderful thermal bath two steps from the hotel, water sports, wonderful air with birds singing - paradise! Plus excursions and sightseeing wherever you prefer - Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However make sure you are aware of check in times because I arrived when no one was there and had to wait for two hours to check in. However was greeted very kindly. Was so surprised when I got into my room and saw I had a sink, shower in my room!!! I thought that the shared bathroom meant sink and shower were shared also. The breakfast was perfect, was not expecting it to be so nice. They asked the time I would like it and I arrived 30 minutes early and they quickly accomadated me with museli, buns, ham and cheese, coffee, orange juice and fruit. The restaurant is beautiful very classy. Overall I would say it was a wonderful experience for the price value. I would have loved to stay another nigh

It's a family hotel and restaurant, so the atmosphere is very friendly and enjoyable. The Italian staff is excellent, the restaurant serves delicious Italian food and good international breakfast. The room was good and the shared bathroom was only needed for WC, while shower and lavatory where inside the room. the room was clean, tidy and, although very close to the city center, the area was quite silent and could have a good night sleep.

Clean room with sink, shower and tv, shared toilet across the corridor,as advertised. Quiet area of town and close to the railway station.Service and breakfast were ok, so in total good value for money (forKonstanz) and definitely recommendable for travelers who don't needluxury but a clean, decent place to stay.

The hotel location is convenient for a walk alongside the Lake and for avisit to the old town for dinner or sightseeing. The Internet was not working when I was there - I was told it would be reinstated after 10am the following morning (after I was leaving) I specifically chose IBIS as they advertise Wifi so was a bit disappointed not to have the use of my laptop ! I did think to ask for a rebate but its all too much trouble when its not life or death stuff !!!!

Very helpful staff - good reception area and comfortable bar withoutside tables - not much more expensive than town centre for drinksetc. walkable to the centre. Very good modern underground parking withbike storage facilities - prices reasonable compared to other hotelparking rates. Rooms modern and clean. Good air conditioning.

New hotel with nicely decorated functional rooms. Clean, silent, comfortable. Very friendly and helpful reception, great breakfast buffet, convenient and cheap car parking facility under the hotel. 10-15 minutes walk to old town and very near to bus station.We had a pleasant stay and have no hesitations in recommending it.

A former industrial building, it seems, converted into studios in a very smart and appealing way. The studio we had was a double, two twin beds, very comfortable. The bathroom is built into the center of the room, and we also had a small kitchenette, with stove top, fridge, tea kettle. Great location if you have a car. The staff was absolutely excellent, very helpful and spoke good English. WiFi was perfectly fine and free. Free and ample on-site parking.
