The hotel owner was very friendly and helpful to us. We had an American van that we had to navigate through very narrow streets. He went with my husband to ensure we were able to safely navigate our van to suitable parking along the river.

The hotel has unique off road parking for motorcycles. The room was very clean and the facilities were very good. The owner Klaus was most welcoming and later revealed to be a cordon bleu chef. This was confirmed by our evening meal which was excellent and the best of my whole holiday.Highly recommended especially to my fellow motorcyclists.

We stayed at one of the self catering houses for 5 nights during a tripto the german gp at the nurburgring, the house was in a great locationin the village , was clean and practical, 2 bathrooms helped as therewere 4 of us,.We arrived late, as we got lost, etc,12.15 At night, Clauswas very reasonable about it, and then showed us to our accomodation,had breakfast the first day in the hotel, and then used the selfcatering facilities for the rest of the stay. The hotel was an idealbase to stay as it was 35 mins from the circuit , but at the same time aworld away. Would definitely return

The best think this place has going for it is location, right in theheart of Koblenz a short walk down the Mosel to German Corner. It is hasvery dated decor (a la 60s), which isn't as big a deal as the lack ofmodern amenities: no wi-fi, a rotary phone. Rooms are ok by smallEuropean hotel standarads but there's a lack of ventilation that wouldmake staying there in hot weather very uncomfortable: we were there insummer during a cool spell and still were a bit warm. The breakfast thatis included is adequate but lacks variety or choice: you get your plateof cold cuts, bread, an egg, a choice of four cereals, one cup ofyogurt. This was disappointing fare compared to the continentalbreakfasts we had in similar hotels in Dusseldorf, Koln, and Bielefeld.
