Definitely wonderful people and personalized reception! I think it was amazing to experience the true interest of the hotel staff in my comfort and pleasure! If you want a great family hotel - I would definitely recommend this one! Additionally, it is fairly easy to get to Frankfurt from there by public transportation, so you won't be stranded in Wallau.

This was our very first visit to Germany and we were looking forward to the know about the local/native lifestyle, so we picked Hotel Wallauer Hof which is also to the dream land of true country life around it. We visited the Bahai Temple, a must visit area for any tourist. The trip is only 10minutes from Hotel Wallauer and it was worth the time/money spent, because we all felt very happy, calm, true joy..... Another best part of staying in Hotel Wallauer Hof, was the best staff, everyone was like a family member. Great home cooked food available. We felt as if we were with a loving, caring family on a true vacation. We receive joy and happiness.... We highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to spend time/money to receive a joyous time.... We all are looking forward to plan another trip very soon in the spring time. Love this hotel and all the staff members.

In my opinion the plus point was free internet wireless. Also the receptionist which happened to check us in was extremely polite and established immediately a rapport with us. Great quiet location being next to the forest! All considering, good value for money.

This was a wonderful find! It was very well marked and easy to find from the main road and the staff was most friendly. It was close to the city and airport (about 20 minutes), but in a quiet small town. It backs to a forested nature preserve with walking trails. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff were exceptional in their helpfulness. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom and their was an air of relaxed calm throughout the hotel. The traditional part of the hotel would be ideal for a couple looking for a relaxing and quiet break.

We were treated with more genuine kindness, warmth and hopitality atBurkartsmuehle than anywhere else we have ever stayed. We live in theSouthern us where we pride ourselves on hospitality, but this was thevery real thing. The hoteläs location iss right at the edge of town andat the edge of a huge tract of the Taunus Mts. With footpaths runningfor miles. The town itself, Hofheim, was charming, friendly and worthdays of exploration. One can walk everywhere. The hotel is neat,accommodating and filled with character. We came planning to spend onenight and ended up staying four. We hope to return.

We stayed at this hotel as it was close to the Frankfurt Airport.Probably took us 15/20mins to drive there. We had 2 adults & 2 kids sothey provided us with a queen bed and 2 singles. The beds fitted neatlyinto the room but there wasn't much space. Fairly modern and cleanbathroom. There didn't appear to be much to do within walking distancefrom the hotel but it was a great place to stay for the night as ourflight arrived in late and we were heading to St Goar the next day.Breakfast was provided and was very nice with plenty of food. TypicalGerman/European breakfast.

The staff were very friendly, carrying my luggage up to my room whenthey saw I had many bags. The breakfast lady was very nice also, as werethe people who worked in the pub (sometimes the same people asreception). ''Simi' the dog in the pub, was very cute also. The room wasclean, quite large, and the bed was made up as a double, not twosingles, pushed together as is normally the case in German hotels. Therewas a small flat screen tv in the room, and a good shower. The breakfastwas of quite good quality. The hotel was very cheap, as was the food inthe pub. The village in which the pub is situated is very nice, and youcan easily walk to the old centre, which has an excellent restaurant,The Alter Hof.

We thoroughly enjoyed our transit stay at the Gruner Wald - so much thatwe booked a night's stay for our return journey from Munich before weleft. The atmosphere in their bar where we had our evening meal was mostenjoyable and the evening dinner freshly cooked and excellent, helped bythe presence of the locals who also use the hotel. We would alsorecommend having a jug of their homemade apfelwein and water. The staffwere top class in their help and happy attitude, the bedrooms were firstclass and the breakfast everything good and what you require and firstclass. In all not a negative word to say but ensure you print off thedirections for assistance from the autobahn to the hotel. Willdefinitely stay again and hopefully for a longer period.

Nice feel to place, and obviously popular as a restaurant - goodatmosphere. Room was fine and spacious, although shower did not seem tohave thermostat control (only manual), Excellent cold buffet breakfast.

The woman who checked me in was very nice about answering many questions about where to park my car and such. She talked to the doorman and he walked outside with me to my car in order to instruct me about how to get into the hotel parking for the night. The bar/lounge was very nice. The waiter was polite and friendly.

The location of the hotel is excellent as it is situated just 200m from the Frankfurt Hbf station. I like the contemporary design of the room, the semi buffet breakfast with a la carte hot mains, cosy and relaxing bar, and the friendly, helpful staff who offered us a late check-out time of 3pm and use of the showers in the sauna as we have a late departure flight.

I stayed at the Steigenberger, as I needed to be close to Frankfurt'smain train station. The hotel is located across the street from one ofthe side entrances, so the location could not be any better for mypurposes. The room was absolutely fine, extremely clean and well-appointed, but what really made my day was that the receptionist - uponfinding out that I was going to be missing the breakfast that wasincluded in the price of my room because of a very early departure -offered to have the kitchen pack a meal for me, which was waiting for meas I checked out at 6 am! Now that's what I call service!

The breakfast was great. The hotel is in convenient location, however there is no parking, or you have to pay for it. We were lucky staying on Sunday when the parking was free just in front of the hotel.

I stay usually at the Manhattan in transit from Europe to the US since it is close to the railroad station, very clean, safe and appropriate for a single older person in transit. I would classify the Manhattan as a business hotel. It's most important attraction is its location so near major hubs of transportation. Their breakfast is excellent and generous and internet facilities for booking boarding passes etc. good..
