The hotel was kept clean and tidy. Superb large bedrooms,very spacious,very reasonable prices The staff and management couldn't have been morehelpful, simply the best. Very good breakfasts and evening bar. Veryquiet, low noise

This hotel is centrally located, two minutes walk from the centre ofButtenheim. Breakfast was served on the patio which looks out overpeaceful countryside. My room was very quiet and I was made to feelwelcome throughout my stay. Look forward to a return visit soon.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is right off thehighway and in a business area with lots of shops and restaurants.However, it is a bit of a ride from Bamberg so if you are travelling forsightseeing, I recommend either a car or staying somewhere else. Freeparking is offered right in front of the hotel. The room was clean, niceand spatious size with very comfortable beds. We stayed here for 2nights but attended breakfast only once as it was pretty poor. Thestaff, on the other hand, was great. We had a nice chat with Alexandra.

Hotel services are extremely good, the staff at the reception and the breakfast room are not only friendly but also quite helpful. The room is clean and quiet, the facilities are just like 4-star hotels. Location wise it is very easy to drive in and out from/to the highway. The hotel is just some meters away from the super market, and there is a big parking place just in front of the hotel which is accessible to hotel guests at any time for free.

Good quality regarding the price. Quite good breakfast. The hotel is located at the 1 floor of a supermarket and there are parking places everywhere around. So, if you are looking for beatiful view you'll be disapointed. However if you are interested in quick service and and simple B&B it's a good solution.

Nestled in the village of Herschied this hotel is an ideal base from which to explore northern Bavaria. Bamberg is 20 mintues, Nuremberg is 30 minutes south. The place is clean and cozy. The beds are comfortable and warm (we visited in December). The staff is courteous and helpful. They also spoke good English (to offset my bad German). The swimming pool is a plus with the kids and helps soak away some tiredness after a long day sightseeing. The food at the restaurant was good (be patient, it takes a little while). In all, a great experience!

Small hotel in very nice old fashion style.With nice but small rooms. Nearby very nice stylish restaurant, with super food (if someone likes original Frankish or Schlesien kitchen) and superb beer.

Everythig was very nice and even the key left for us on the front doorbecause of late arrival on Sunday evening without any gloomy check-inprocedure.

Well for me it's the perfect place. Food is really good and not expensive. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Then you have a brewery as well that sells really good beer. I have read other reviews about this hotel, and I just don't get it. For me I couldn't stay anywhere better. Ten out of ten from me. Just remember to bring some soap, our room didn't have any. But nobody's perfect.

Very friendly, typical German gasthof. The brewery and main restauranthave good German food, huge portions, and very low prices. Actual roomwas across the street. Simple, small room but clean. A warning - thetown bells go off every fifteen minutes, all night, and are quite closeto the hotel.

Hotel has a brewery built within grounds and a large beergarden to rear.Good parking. Good rooms, no lift. Hotel did very good meals in a busylarge dining room.
