Everything in the hotel is fantastic. For the money paid definitely is a value. Much much better service than the hotels which charge a lot of money. There is a fantastic indian restaurant and the food is great. Would love to stay there again, perfect for holiday couple and for business meet.

staff were great,food was nice,room was comfortable, clean, and nice view over square, but the real winner was the setting. A picture postcard building in a picture postcard town square in a great little town. Only stayed 1 night on way to Switzerland, but could easily have spent longer. Great position and great value

This was the best priced hotel we could find in Heidelberg, which is to say still pretty expensive, but we got a good deal through booking.com. We booked a 4-person room that turned out to be two double beds. My son and daughter were not happy about having to share. The bathrooms are completely remodeled with radiant heating in the floor and lovely new fixtures with water saving features like electric eye in the sink and an auto-off in the shower after 1 minute. You can easily turn it back on, but amazingly the shower got it right every time for me--just as I was done getting wet, it went off, and just as I was done rinsing it went off again. The rest of the room was clean but shabby. The people were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and well-priced. The desk is only staffed until 8 pm, but they have a system for letting you get your key from an automated dispenser outside the front door after hours. You have to get a special ticket for the free internet service

Oh my gosh, after staying in London and Paris days before, we felt likewe had finally hit the ritz! This hotel is awesome. We were sent acrossthe street to the extention of the hotel so we didn't stay in thebuilding where the breakfast and check in desk is but our play was verynice. Tall ceilings, comfy beds, elegant decor, big modern bathroom. Wedidn't eat the breakfast but everything else about our stay was awesome.It was clean and had a great balcony. We felt like queens after havinghorrible stays in London and Paris. Location was good, not far fromHauptstrasse for shopping and the Heidelberg Castle on the hill. Thetram through town was very easy to use and the info lady at the maintrain station was very helpful and made us feel like we were beingwelcomed home after a long stay away. Heidelberg is awesome!! Don'tforget to see the Students Prison downtown--just ask. Little unknowninteresting thing to see!!!

We were not able to arrive until after 8.00pm and so the hotel kindlymade arrangements for us to collect our key via a code/machine. We alsohad an incident with our car during our time in Heidelberg. The hotelstaff were very helpful and acted as interpreters when we needed to swapdetails with the driver. Very good hotel, helpful staff and although thehotel does not have its own car park, we were able to buy a parkingticket to allow us to park very close to the hotel.

The Hotel Rose is a great value and comfortable. It is approximately 10minutes by tram to Bismarkplatz. (Shopping area) The tram stop is a fewsteps from entrance of Hotel Rose. Hotel has hard wood floors,comfortable bed and linens. They offer breakfast buffet daily. We stayedat Hotel Rose for 2 days and nights for the Heidelberg Christmas Marketwith my 8 year old and my 5 year old. The kid room had a box of toys andbunk beds. I would definately recommend for the price and location.

Hotel Rose was very comfortable, convenient and an excellent value. Ichose it because it included parking, was easy access by tram toHeidelberg Alt Stadt, and was easy access to the a5 to explore theregion. The room was very clean and comfortable and each night weenjoyed sitting out on the balcony. There are very good restaurantswithin easy walking distance as well. I would definitely return to HotelRose if I return to Heidelberg.

We loved the ambiance of the Hotel Rose. The Hotel had many extras, suchas a kitchen, dvd player, and dvd's, books, bottled drinks to purchase,etc. The breakfast, which was included was very good, and the staff werevery pleasant. There were also good restaurants near by. We enjoyed ourstay. Parking was excellent, in a protected environment, as were theaccomodations.
