Nice place, nice location, a very kind and helpful staff, which is,obviously, a good family of Bosnian serbs. An acceptable distance toDuesseldorf, however, travelling there and back by train on weekends maywell be disappointing (long intervals between the trains, cancelling thetrains without notice etc.).

Near the train station, not far from local city center. 20-25 mins taxi drive from DUS airport. By train, about 1hr and 20 mins from trade fair in Dusseldorf. I liked breakfast; hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and serviced everyday. free wifi

All personnel is very nice and helpful, including reception, kitchen and cleaners. The hotel is not quite new, but everything is clean and in good condition. The breakfast is typical but the choice is absolutely sufficient. Nice place to stay.

the price quoted is unreasonable as within the same area with same facilities you will be able to get a better price 45-50% less than which i paid.

The hotel is located within walking distance to the Cathedral and mosttouristic spots. I spent there 4 nights on a work-trip and I was veryhappy to come back to my cosy room at night -- the bathroom and the roomwere always very clean and the food available for breakfast was to mytaste (the peach yoghurt was fantastic, even though they could probablydo with some fruit at the table). The staff is very friendly and keen tohelp, even though just one person speaks English... The other ones makean effort, though! Internet was vital for me during this trip and itworked very well from my room on the first floor. The room was verysmall but comfy, and there was everything I needed for a short stay:even a desk to work at night. I'll definitely go back to Hotel Arde ifI'm back to Cologne.

The service is very friendly and competent (speaks English fluently). Rooms were clean and properly equipped (shower, toilet, TV, proper beds), the hotel bar is also recommendable at good prices. The location of the hotel is excellent, just 6 min. walking distance to the cathedral and central station, and 1 min. walking to the shopping malls (Breite Strasse). The hotel is located in a side road and is therefore not exposed to traffic noise or late hour nuisance from the Cologne nightlife.

Great location and within walking distance of most city centre attarctions. Lots of bars and eating places at hotel location or nearby.Hotel only short walk from Train and Bus stations and U Bahn. Our rooms were to the rear of the hotel so escaped noise from bars located beneath hotel.Hotel rooms were very clean with daily room service.Breakfast was adequate.

Location and the view which is very near the dom and room is facing tothe river. Room is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is fantastic and alot of choices compare with the same category of hotels. Staff (owner)is very polite and kind. I even extend my stay there.
