Except for the check-in which was a self-checkin (I arrived at 8pm). Thehotel is really good, nice (for decorations and furnitures), with a lotof services for the really cheap price. There was a shared balcony (butthere was none in the other rooms, so..), nice landscape, a good Italianpizzeria at 50mt. Even if they mostly speak in German, they were kindand it was easy to arrange things. Good breakfast too

The hotel is located in the heart of the Old Town - a great location for exploring Heidelberg and Heidelberg Castle. The staff were exceptionally helpful, and spoke English, which was appreciated as my German is weak. They provided us with maps and directions for all the places we needed to get to while we were there. Breakfast was excellent, and well worth the 10 euros per person.

This was an absolutely lovely hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - everything was perfect - cosy, quiet, excellent heating as needed, beautiful bathroom, our lovely spacious room was so comfortable! The hotel is beautifully situated right by the Alten Brucke and the river and we were able to walk absolutely everywhere in the beautiful city of Heidelberg - and it is an incredibly beautiful city. The Castle towering over the city was stunning and wonderful to visit - the restaurants were superb and we were very sad to leave!

Our "Junior Suite" was simply beautiful and nicely furnished. The hotelwas quaint, but very modern in its furnishings and updated bathroom. Theadjacent restaurant was small, quaint, and simply outstanding food anddrink. The staff was always more than willing to help you with any needyou may have. The location was simply terrific. We were near the RiverNeckar and the Heidelberg Bridge. The location made seeing Heidelbergvery easy, as all the wonderful shops and restaurants and bakeries werewithin easy walking distance. We will not hesitate to stay at Hotel ZurAlten Brucke again when we visit Germany.

The "Apartment" was very spacious and a nice set up for two couples or a family with children. The location was great, and the 3rd floor offered a partial view of the river. Convenient to many good shopping and eating options.

The hotel has a fantastic location - 2 min. and you're in the middle of the pedestrian zone! the building is old - from the 17th century, and one has to considerate it. was quite comfortable for all three of us, enough for one-night stay.

Location fabulous..less than 50 yards from the river and boat stationsfor trips along the Neckar river...lovely..Also very short walk to mainstreet (pedestrian) in the old Town and 15 minutes walk to the funicularrailway up to the castle...gorgeous walks up there and views..cheaptoo!..Hotel surprisingly has a good little Japanese restaurant but ifyou want German, restaurants are only a short walk. Bathrooms small butimmaculate and powerful hot shower...Asked for extra pillows..instantlysupplied. Breakfast buffet excellent..great rolls. Meats, cheeses,fruits (particularly liked the plums) and nice coffee.These are nicepeople with a great little hotel.

Breakfast was good and room was well sized with a good bathroom including a bath (a rare treat). The hotel is well positioned to explore both the Schloss and the town of Heidelberg.

Was very close to the U Bahn and only needed one change to join with the bus to Tegel airport.Room was nice and quite as the hotel is in a side street but only a couple of blocks away from the Kurfurstendam

The city is a real touristic point in the area . The position of the hotel is probably the best for visitors, just few steps to old city but in the same time in a quiet rezidential area . May be a little bit expensive, the hotel is exactely what you need for a short holliday . Clean, quiet and with a frendly staff, this hotel is for sure the place I will come back with pleasure .

Hotel was very helpful. Gave us a map and told us about all the sights. We did not eat breakfast there because of my diet but, they brought us coffee every morning. We enjoyed the uniqueness of the hotel and location a lot.

The staff were extremely friendly. Peter ( the governor) even arranged a hospital appointment for us. The location is excellent being just where the old town meets the new and the river is just down the road. The secured parking was a bonus in a big city like Heidelberg. Very enjoyable stay.

Our room was very clean, up to date, and spacious. The staff was very professional and could not have been better with regard to giving us directions to see the sites in Heidelberg. The location is about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the old city center and is very close to the bus stop catch a quick bus trip to the rail station.
