This hotel is quite quirky. The main building is very old indeed withhuge beams giving the rooms interesting shapes with very sloping roofs.The newer areas blend in well and the decor matches with lots ofold/antique ornaments and articles throughtout. The food was good.Dinner was surprisingly varied and good quality and the wine list hadsome excellent inexpensive wines on it. Breakfast was extensive.Service was good.

Excellent location for my purpose (arriving from the rail station), then visiting the Bachhaus and Wartburg. Nice and central and close to shops. I was made to feel very welcome, the hotel offered a friendly and comfortable atmosphere and I enjoyed the breakfast buffet very much.
