Our rooms were spacious, ensuite. The double room had a balcony and the triple room had a separate area for the third person giving more privacy. We had not ordered an evening meal but the owner very kindly prepared us some food. There was a slight problem with language but the owner called someone who could speak English to assist us and other times we were able to communicate with our phrase book. Breakfast was good and plentiful and the owner kept checking we had everything we needed. We have no problem recommending this property

The b&b was extremely comfortable, of a traditional German style, with avery hospitable host. Even though we struggled with communication due tolack of knowledge of the language, we were made most welcome and given adelicious evening meal. Thankfully the owner's daughter did speak someEnglish. The breakfast was also excellent with everything anyone couldwant. The village is quite difficult to find.....we were glad of our SatNav! The location is beautiful and peaceful and it was an added bonus tohave a balcony to sit out on.We would recommend this b&b for extremelygood value for money.

Very quiet location in the small village surrounded by beautiful greenhills and forests. Easy to find it with gps, and the roads quality isgood everywhere. Not far from the main attractions of the region: cityof Trier, Mosel Valley and Hunsrueck Natural Park. The room was cleanand the bed was copmfortable, better than ever before! The breakfast wasreally good, Mrs. Roswitha have served it earlier than usual (at07:00am) on my previous request. Nonwithstanding the fact that Mrs.Roswitha do not speak English, and my knowledge of German is very verybasic, we understood each other very well.

We stayed in the apartment which was large, clean and warm (even in the middle of winter). Staff was very friendly. The location is in the middle of the countyside, so very quiet. The apartment has great views over the valley.

very friendly family who were super hosts -very helpful with local info and maps the food was hearty and the atmosphere convivial with 'gemuetlichheit' . Room was very comfortable with lovely views across the Hochwald ( High Forest ) .. the village is very quiet but the weekend we stayed was the village festival at which were warmly welcomed by the locals .. great for walking and chilling ....

The location in the beginning of Mosel Radweg - we started ourbicycletrip for several days upstreams the Mosel from here. Goodbreakfast and a clean, quiet, spacious room. The main reason of bookingthis hotel was that it was hard to find any other with similarlocation/price because of the Roman Festival in Trier this weekend.

The staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant, food was excellent, and hotel convenient for both bus and train to the city. Would definately stay again.

Location: it was a short walk from the train station and right acrossthe street from the Porta Nigra and the Tourist Information center. Thiswas a comfortable and well-run business class hotel. We especially likedhaving a drink in the outdoor seating of the restaurant watching the sungo down on the Roman gate. The pleasant waitress made helpfulsuggestions that were just right.

Very comfortable, quiet. We only stayed one night but I would use itagain. The staff were very efficient and helpful and spoke excellentenglish. Buffet breakfast had a very good choice of food and drinks -though price not included in the room and at eur 16 maybe not thecheapest. Parking available just behind the hotel (eur 9.50 per day).Location good - just a short walk into town.

The location directly opposite the Porta Nigra is excellent, unbeatable.Even though it is so close to the city centre, we drove to it easily.Delighted to find that everyone can look at the Porta Nigra from thebreakfast room. Breakfast provded an excellent choice and the staff inreception and the dining area were exceptionally helpful. Parking wasdirectly under the hotel and very easy. The city square is about 300metres away and the hop-on tour buses start from about 100 metres awayfrom the hotel and there are so many interesting places nearby. This wasan ideal place to stay in a very historic and exciting city.
