A guest might be a bit disappointed when he or she sees the hotel from the outside and its enterance. However, the moment he or she walks in you feel an aura of positive atmosphere. Our room was with brand new furniture, wall papers, freshly painted ceiling, soft pillows, new bed linen and soft towels. Breakfast is very good and everything is very fresh and tasty. As a family who oftentimes stays in five star hotels, Hotel am Park is exceptional because of its efficient, polite, professional, helpful and outgoing personnel. If you want to experience real German hospitality, go to Hotel am Park.

I was there for business during a two week period and found the staff very friendly. The room was nice, clean and comfortable as was the bathroom. Very decent internet connection. The only downside was the lack of a small fridge.

excellent location, nearby metro station and good restaurants, single room small but nice, friendly staff, undergorund car park - no problem with space, supermarket at ground floor, good information set - city maps etc available

The staff was extremely helpful sand very friendly. It is a convenientlocation - direct train to Marienplatz about 20 mins - and more quietand cost effective than staying in one of the busier downtown areas. Thestaff is on site 24 hours which is also nice. The only issue was that the cleaning carts were loud in the hallway in the morning, but that could have been an anomaly. I would definitely stay there again.

Friendly hotel with all the facilities that you need including a goodbuffet breakfast included in the room rate, free internet, kettle, tea,coffee and fridge in the room, iron and ironing board in the room,powerful shower, windows that open, quiet location (at the rear of thehotel - I can't comment on the rooms directly facing theFrankfurterring), very close to the u Bahn, not too far from the airportvia s and u Bahn, only 10 munites to the Hauptbahnhof. All the staff atthe hotel were very friendly and helpful. Good hotel at a veryreasonable price.

When I noticed that the prices did not correspond to the ones on my booking confirmation I asked the lady in the reception about it. She was not interested in understanding or investigate my complain and was very much less helpful than what I would expect of a person in this work. The next morning I asked the same question from the male receptionist and after studying our bookings, we were two persons in two rooms, he got it cleared out that breakfasts had been charged for 2 persons/room even if we only where 1 person/room. He immediately changed my credit card charge accordingly and was friendly in doing this. Quit opposite from the lady cleric the day before.

We had a great stay. I booked the family room for four adults and addedan infant for a rate of €99. Much to my surprise, when my family arrivedthe receptionist at the front desk realized we had three childreninstead of adults. Once our children's ages were established, we werehappy to see that the price had dropped to €79. Five people with aclean, new bathroom, two huge king beds and a crib added to the roomupon request. We really couldn't beat the price. We drove into the cityand having lived near Munich before, thus was not an issue. If you haveno experience with the area, it is still a simple 5-10 minute drive tothe city center. Really, well worth the trip.

The hotel is located in the university neighborhood. There are plenty ofrestaurants, bars and cafes, as well as bookstores nearby. The streetlife is active at night, but not rowdy or noisy. Breakfast andcomplimentary afternoon tea and coffee at the hotel are excellent. Thehotel staff is very friendly and solicitous. Free, fast and consistentwi-fi internet access in the guest rooms. Overall an excellentexperience.

Hotel staff were great, holding our luggage while we went out because wearrived before check-in then they moved our bags to our room for ourreturn later that day so our things were safe. Rooms were nice with tallceiling and large windows. Breakfast was very good. Great location, easyto get to by metro system and 3 minute walk from closest station. Niceneighbourhood.

Lots of pleasant surprises. Starting with the room (large, clean, tastefully decorated), going on with the area (lots of local boutiques, cafes and restaurants, museums) and ending with the proximity of the center (within walking distance - 15 min to the very center). Certainly recommended for an extended weekend trip to beautiful Munchen.
