We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Frankfurt Airport.Once there we were very happy with the ammenities. It is a modern hotel, but not exteme in design. The bed was extremely comfortable, thelocation was perfect. The hotel provided shuttle service to the airportand since we had been traveling around the area for 2-1/2 weeks thelocation was perfect. We were able to stay the evening before our returnflight home and relax amid a luxurious but comfortable surrounding. Thestaff were verry friendly and helpful and we would stay here again.

We chose to stay at this airport hotel for recovery from 24hr long haul flight from Australia. Was very pleasant 2 night stay in deluxe double room, one of the quietest hotel rooms we have stayed in. Room had plenty of space, good size bathroom, comfortable bed. The regular shuttle hotel-airport-train is excellent, 5 min journey runs every 15 mins. Easy travel to Frankfurt city which we did each day, 10 mins train journey E3.70 one way. Hotel bar area nice with casual outside area, meals good in hotel and associated German pub next door. Reasonable gym and pool. Frankfurt forest next door for run, walks or bike.
Lessie  — 12.11.2011
Using the GPS information provided with the reservation confirmation, we found the hotel easily. The ability to park near the entrance for a period of time while checking in and taking baggage to room was very helpful. I booked a Standard Room and found it to be quite comfortable, clean and modern. I ordered Room Service dinner which came without delay and was delicious (Rump Steak). Shopping within hotel was not available because it was Good Friday and shops were closed. Shuttle service to the airport - very important to me - ran every 15 minutes and took approximately 4 minutes to get to airport. I do recommend this hotel to both vacationers and business travelers.

The 45 guestrooms and suites contained in the Concorde Hotel Frankfurt am Main are decorated in a contemporary style and fully air conditioned. The Concorde Hotel Frankfurt am Main is a 4-star art deco boutique hotel that was lovingly restored.
Joanne  — 27.1.2012
The hotel looks very impressive and high-class both inside and out. I had a single bedroom, which was tiny but had everything I needed. There were a lot of little touches which showed that the hotel cares about its guests - a chocolate on the pillow, the usual toiletries, a little hotel notebook and pencil, sweets in a bowl at reception and others. There is a supermarket open from early till late just across the road. The hotel itself is also just across the road from the main train station. Amongst TV channels they also had BBC Prime, when a lot of hotels abroad just have news channels to watch in English.
Gregory  — 22.10.2011
We stayed at the Concorde for four nights initially then after a gap ofthree nights returned to the Concorde for our final night in Germany. The hotel staff kindly minded our bag while we were away for the threenights and it was in our room waiting for us on the final night. We wereimpressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The hotel iswell located being only about a five minute walk to Frankfurt Hbf andthe rooms are a good size and well appointed. The mood lighting isinteresting! Sadly the small old fashioned TVs dated the rooms butdidn't really impact on our stay as we were limited to cnnnnn as it wasthe only English speaking program
Dallas  — 16.12.2011
This is an older building that has been extensively remodeled into a very comfortable apartment/hotel. My room was very pleasant, on an upper floor; the only disadvantage being a view of the courtyard. However, this probably resulted in the room being quieter at night. I especially liked the "mood lighting" feature, in which white, amber, or blue lights could be adjusted against the curtains covering the window. This produced a warm, ambient effect. The room was spacious, with a modern bath area. The shower extends partially into the room, but curtains provide privacy. There were comfortable duvets and pillows for a good night's sleep. Staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Another advantage is the closeness to the main train station, with long-distance trains, trams, S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines, which is only a five-minute walk.

This hotel has a 'german' atmosphere, unlike many 'chain' hotels. It is very good value for the price and is close to the airport. If one follows the hotels instructions the pick up and drop off shuttle service is excellent and punctual. It is a 6 minute walk to the train if you want to go to downtown Frankfurt. The staff is very professional and completely fluent in English and accomodates the travellers requests. The morning breakfast is extremely generous, great coffee and a very pleasant room overlooking the village. There is a restaurant in house that offers traditional german cooking.

Excellent layover hotel between flights at Frankfurt Airport. This hotel near the airport is right in the middle of an actual small German town. You can walk around the corner to a supermarket, a drugstore, a bank, a restaurant. The hotel and the town are a short (free) shuttle ride from Frankfurt airport. For those who just want a good, convenient and inexpensive sleepover between flights and who don't have as a main goal sightseeing in Frankfurt city - this is ideal. The room was quite large - with a sitting area and all. The slightly dated style is typical for European hotels of a certain era - doesn't bother me at all (everything is clean), even rather like it as opposed to the standardized chains.
Craig  — 19.10.2011
The hotel is clean, the breakfast is good and the location to Frankfurt Airport (10 mins) and the free airport shuttle pick –up and drop off service could not be better. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and it was a quick 10 minute easy walk to the train station and a short, cheap train ride into town to see the sights. The hotel has a large shopping centre next door and several restaurants and bars nearby which was very handy. I took a nice walk by the river after breakfast which is only 5mins from the hotel and it was just what I needed before my next flight. There is a great children’s park down there and ducks in the river and if I had my children with me they would have loved it. This hotel is not a 5 star brand name airport hotel, but it is cheap, clean, functional, friendly and gave me an excellent night’s sleep before my onward journey. The money I saved by not staying at a brand name hotel, I spent in town enjoying myself and still had money left over. I woul

In hotel Monopol there is a special aurora of friendliness and thehotelstaff is very polite and helpful, all of them. They invite drinksand cakes in the Lobby in the daytime and also free minibar with waterand other drinks. Tjeck in time is better than in other hotels and theyhave a specially good breakfast. They have very good bed chlothes andthe towels and bath amites in the bathroom are very good. Hotel Monopolis for me, the best hotel in Frankfurt, a few steps from theMaintrainstation.

The hotel is quite dated and much of the furnishings and facilities arequite basic however the service was excellent and, with the exception ofthe corridors, everything was very clean. The hotel staff were veryfriendly and helpful and all the receptionists spoke excellent Englishand were happy to give advice. The room and bathroom were of ample sizewith an extra anteroom with a wardrobe. The hotel breakfast wasexcellent and there was free coffee, tea, fruit and cake available inthe lobby during the day and free drinks, including juice, beer andwater, in the minibar in the room. Wi fi was also free and available inboth the lobby and the room. In summary the hotel was a pleasure to stayin and offered excellent value for money. It is very central, situateddirectly beside the main railway station but is not noisy or dirty. Iwould thoroughly recommend the Hotel Monopol to anyone looking for arelaxed and affordable stay or transit in Frankfurt.

First of all, I must say, I didn't expect much from this hotel but ithas certainly impressed me:1. The hotel staffs was polite and helpful. It was a pleasant experience throughout my stay. 2. The free minibar was awesome. Everyday the fridge will be replenished with new drinks (including 2 bottles of beer) and this has got to be the best feature. 3. The building though looks old from the outside, has clean and neat rooms. The bed is very comfortable and bathroom was spacious with a bathtub. 4. The free drinks, coffee, tea in the lobby was another great feature. The staff gladly provide me with hot water late at night. 5. The location was excellent! Once reached level 1 of Haupbahnhof, look to the right (where there is a Burger King) and you will see a signage for Hotel Monopol. Exit below the signage and you will see the hotel across the road. Perfect as we are carrying heavy luggages and good to know we wouldn't have to walk far. Overall it was a good stay and I would stay here

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The roof top restaurant has an amazing view of the city skyline and the food is excellent. Very nice breakfast, buffet for some items and they will cook to your liking hot foods. Breakfast is included in the room price. The hotel is spotless. Everything is very clean. Just to add to the charm of the hotel they have an elevator that is designed to replicate the start-up time period of elevators-no door you kind of jump onto the elevator. Very cool! They also have a modern elevator which most people use.

The lady running the place was very friendly and a nice continentalbreakfast was included and brought to your room. The rooms are spartanicand old fashioned, nevertheless clean and new blankets are used everyday. The price you pay is low, but you are supplied with everything youneed. Internet and television are also in place.

We stayed at Pension Bruns on a layover in Frankfurt. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood with wide tree-lined streets and old buildings. It is close to the metro and walking distance to many enjoyable sites. The rooms are very large with high celings and floor to ceiling windows. It was very clean and our bed was comfortable. We slept very well.
Johanna  — 7.2.2012
The room was a good size and clean. We had to share the toilet and shower but they were also spacious and clean. The hotel staff was friendly and breakfast was served in the room and was also good and enough. Parking was free in the neighbourhood and at a walking distance (5 min) of the Messegelande. The city centre was a bit further (15 min) but also at a walkingdistance. Recommended for a city- or businesstrip. Good value for money.

Our apartment had a view of the Main River directly across from the Staedel Museum. It's about a 10 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof and a 5 minute walk to Willy Brandt Platz U-Bahn station. 8 minute walk to Roemer and Hauptwache shopping and tourist areas. No, grocery stores on our street, but 5 minute walk to Kaiser or Munchener Str. had vegi stalls and food stores. Maid came to clean every day. Having a kitchenette significantly reduced the cost of eating out all the time. Apartment had a lovely covered balcony where we ate our meals. Great apartment, we'll definately do it again. (Apartment 1-3). The apartment representative spoke English, met us on time and was very helpful.
Seamus  — 4.2.2012
The apartment was clean, tidy and comfortable. There was some fruits,tea/coffee,small loaf, orange juice, bottled water, milk, jams, ceral etc toget you through the first night, the kitchen was ok for cooking utensilsfor a short stay and the bed was comfortable. There is no front desk area but when contacted the staff where polite and helpful in manner. It was in a quiet and safe area and although I was on the 1st floor with a river view the traffic noise was acceptable. It was a approx 5 min walk from the main train station, trams and underground and about 10-15 min walk to ziel shopping area. Above all I found it a very good deal for the price and much better than staying in a hotel.I would stay here if in Frankfurt am main again.

The owners are very polite and the location is excellent if you are visiting the fair. My room was more like a mini apartment with 2 rooms. Breakfast was good (although not with many options).

Very welcoming bed and breakfast, with much greater atmosphere than alarge hotel. My single had a balcony, which was wonderful for morningand evenings after my conference. Breakfast buffet was very nice;manager even bought low fat yoghurt specially for me. Not too far awayare several nice neighbourhood restaurants (vicinity of a university).Even still only 15 minute to downtown or very short tram ride.

The accommodation was excellent and Maria (the owner) went out of herway to help us in our travels. She personally walked the distance to thenearest self service laundromat to answer our queries on such servicebeing available nearby. The breakfasts provided were more thansatisfactory and and contained the personal touch from Maria. In all, this was a magical find for us and we would recommend this hotel toanyone. This comes on top of the fact that we have been traveling forsome months now and have utilized a number of hotels across the world.Way to go Maria - what a great place you have!!!

Our stay was quite enjoyable from many aspects, one of them being thatalthough we are well over 70, each of the staff readily either joined inconversations or initiated them. Other residents were also eitherquietly eating, computing (free wi-fi, even small laptops available forfree loan ) or enjoying the fact that the lounge had a full view of 'thepassing parade'. As with all of germany we felt perfectly safe.

The location was excellent. Easy walk from train station. Yes, it was the red light district, but you can just walk past that. It is safe. The staff were amazing, the room was great, a little street noisy at night, but we just shut the window. The breakfast was great for 4. euros. On our return trip (arriving and leaving from Frankfurt) staff were very helpful in aiding us in finding a room during the bookfair for the night we hadn't booked with them! A very cool and happening place. Lots of staff organized things for guests to do during the week, ie: walking night tour, BBQ, cooking class, movie night. Fun! We would recommend a stay here for any age, any time in a heart beat.

The hotel staff were all young, lively and friendly, they have goodcommand of English. The space in the room was reasonably spacious andclean. The location is excellent. Right opposite the frankfurt maintrain station. The-eat-all-you-can breakfast was great and is includedin the room price as well! Great experience.

I had a great time at the Frankfurt Hostel! Staff was great and veryhelpful to any kind of matter. The location is fantastic, good breakfastbuffet. The room was with a little, romantic balcony, clean andcomfortable. But the whole atmosphere was free&natural&it felt like aplace where you are very welcomed! Nice to be there and looking forwardto be there again!

You get what you pay for. the room wasn't great, tiny television with no remote, the room looked a little old and looked like it could do with a refurb, but it's a hostel, and for those people who want somewhere to sleep while visiting frankfurt for a weekend, for example, then it's ideal. the location being near to the hauptbahnhof is excellent, there are lots of takeaways in the area to get something to eat too.
