While traveling with friends who had never been to Germany, I selectedHotel Alte Linde because of its location just south of Munich. I had nodesire to drive in Munich so we took the train into Munich fromFeldafing (45 minutes). The receptionist at the hotel told us about aspecial train fare that included a day of travel on all Munich publictransportaion for all four of us less than 20 Euros. We spent anotherday touring Nueschwanstein, Weiskirche, and Garmisch. All of thosesights were within an easy drive from the hotel. The hotel exceeded myexpectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were verygood, well-appointed, roomy and exceptionally clean. The restaurant inthe hotel was excellent with superb service and good regional dishes. Ihighly recommend this hotel. We did stay at another akzent hotel, theSchranne in Rothenburg and found it to be excellent as well.

We enjoyed staying here. It was good location for visiting Andechs. Friendly receptionist. Our room was large.

It was near of the Harras U-Bahn station and it was very easy parkingcar in front of the Hotel. The breakfast was acceptable, but not at allluxurious. There is another Hotel close of this, with the same name andbetter (four stars). No doubt, our great mistake was have not chosen the"twin" hotel. The staff were correct.

The hotel is very close to the tram station (less than 5 minute walk), which goes directly to the Hauptbahnhof and Marienplatz. There is a gas station/convenience store on one side, and a McDonald's on the other, and both are open late and on Sundays. The hotel room was much bigger than we expected, and it was very clean. We only stayed for one night, but it would have been a very comfortable room for a longer stay. The staff spoke English and were very friendly. We chose this hotel because it was one of the cheapest we found, but it was a great value.

Big family rooms, very clean, a garage underneath the hotel, closed, soit is safe to leave the car there, the stuff is very helpful, especiallythe lady at the reception. McDonalds practically at the hotel-thebreakfast there is better option than at the hotel (much cheaper), thereis also a store near by. The location is very peripheral, but an S-bahnstation is just around the corner and there is only 8 train stations tothe Marienplatz (10 minutes), tickets can be bought at the reception,too. We were satisfied!

I pay the cheapest price at this hotel among 5 hotels at differentcities( Netherland Amsterdam, Germany Cologne, Nurnberg, Munich, SwissInterlaken) during my trip. However it is the only one has 5 star roomand service. I got a big and clean room and with a big washroom.Although the hotel do not provide free internet service at room, itprovide free internet at lobby for limited time. This is quite good fortourist to check for some information, E.G. train schedule. Although thehotel is not near the main train station (it need to take 3 subwaystop), it is exactly located at the exit of the subway station. This isextremely good for the tourist when they have heavy luggage because theydon't need to worry to walk for a long distance to find the hotel.Moreover, there are some restaurants outside the hotel which someoperate until 11:30pm. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the room was spacious and clean. We booked a Club Room which gave complimentary access to the Club Lounge, where snacks and beverages were served free of charge throughout the day. The swimming pool, hot tub and spa facilities provided a relaxed atmosphere at the hotel. An excellent hotel, great value for money, and excellent access to the city centre, with U- and S-Bahn stations directly outside the door of the hotel. I would stay here again without any hesitation.

This hotel has good connection to the city center, there is a metro andbus station in front of the hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean withfabulous bed that gave us an excellent sleep. Bathroom is clean andspacious, and spa is very nice. Free Internet in the hotel lobby but wehad wireless internet included in the price so it was ok since the dallyrate is 15eur. Very good Hotel for every recommendation!

Friendly staff. Excellent breakfasts and 5 mins walk to subway station.Free parking and rooms well appointed. Too far to walk to/from citycentre but as subway works until nearly 4am, it is not an issue.

Easy to get to from city center & main train station - free train whenusing a eurail pass. Nice breakfast, friendly staff & great value formoney in a nice & quiet location.
