The atmosphere and the friendliness were apparant as soon as we stepped into this hotel and this atmosphere carried on throughout our stay. The hotel staff were professional and the hotel had a lovely modern style to it. This area of the Moselle is very special and the scenery is spectacular with the river winding its way through the hills.The room was very nice, clean, well designed and with a wonderful view of the river.We would love to re-visit this hotel and we are making plans now for another holiday. The food in the restaurant was first class, the empty plates were proof of this. Well done Winzer Hotel we are two very satisfied guests.

Contrary to previous guests comments there is now a lift in the Winzerhotel, it is obvious that the hotel has under gone a major refurbishment and the bedrooms are bright and modern. This is a family run business and all the staff are very helpfull and friendly, they go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and look after you. The families own house wines are superb, we recommend you try them all, preferably in the beer garden and stick with your favourite. We purchased a few to take away with us. The food is excellent, the chef is the owner's son, and boy can he cook! We tried everything on the menu and we were not disappointed but the highlight of the menu was the Rump Steak! The advertised buffet breakfasts are as good as they say, massive amounts of cheeses and meats with baked daily fresh bread rolls - heaven! The location is beautifull and an ideal base for exploring the Mosel Valley. Our only recommendations would be to expand the menu by two or three more signatur

After long days of sightseeing, we enjoyed relaxing on our balcony offthe bedroom each night. The location was perfect, being central to allthe key places on the Mosel River. The hostess went out of her way tomake our trip wonderful. We highly recommend this hotel.

A great place to stay. Very good price. A bottle of the family wine to welcome us which was really enjoyable. The owner was really helpful, she speaks excellent English and the the balcony, overlooking the Moselle River was an excellent place to enjoy the wine. This hotel is part of the Bett and Bike accommodation group and to date has been the best value for money of anywhere we have stayed.

We were a group of 8 bikers and as soon as we arrived Herr Schneidercleared space for parking on the yard. The rooms were spacious, cleanand comfi and the complimentary bottle of vine went down a treat. Thebreakfast buffett was filled plenty and good as was the the vine fridgewith their own vines! Note though this is not a hotel, therefor eveningmeals need to found off the premisis but with plenty of hotels and pupswithin 1/2 mile you'll be spoilt for choice. Us Eight can only recommendthis b&b and would stay again should we head that way.

Extremely welcoming, family owned and operated hotel attached to a vineyard. Lovely atmosphere, wine tasting conducted by master vintner. Liked the breakfasts, very warm and eager staff. Great location: yards from the river Moselle which is lovely and beautifully calm at that point, we sat by the river bank and had a bottle of wine in the summer sunshine, chatted with other guests and local people who could hardly have been nicer. Miles of safe cycle tracks by the river; walks through the vineyards. Wine festivals had started which had a family type feel and did not rip off the guests. Perhaps I should not say it for fear of bringing in more people but this area is an undiscovered gem - mainly German and Dutch visitors. Just down the river lies the small but lively town of Cochem with its beautiful castle. Did not want to leave - what more can one say? Many thanks, Familie Clemens, we'll most likely meet again.

Great hotel! Although, I thought we were getting a room in the sisterhotel right on the water front - so that was a dissapointment. Thishotel is very nice and just a short walk away in a great little town,but more modern with less of the charm I was looking for in ahistoric town.

Delightful small Moselle village without the crowds of Cochin, wholevillage full of character, Excellent terraced restaurant at the 400 yearold Altes Zollhaus over looking the sunset on the Moselle. It was linkedto our discret modern residence higher up in the village at theKosterberg.Interesting family unit with good English.Whole experiencespoke "Quality". We thought our stay there was the highlight of a slowdrive down from the Hook ogf Holland to Bordeaux.

We stayed at the 'Altes Zollhaus', which is effectively on the River Mosel. We had a very comfortable room, with a river view. It is a small, friendly hotel - part of a family-owned group in the village; English was spoken by all the staff we had contact with. The hotel is well run, and provides everything one needs and expects from a small hotel. The staff are vey helpful and hard-working. The hotel has a restaurant which is open most evenings; when it is not open, there are alternatives. We dined on the terrace, overlooking the river. The food was good, and we enjoyed the local wines. We had a very enjoyable 5-day stay, and the hotel provides an excellent base to explore the Mosel region. Thank you.
