The location was very rural and picturesque. The flat was outstanding,well equipped and really comfortable. The restaurant food was deliciousand so was the breakfast. This hotel was excellent value for money.

We stayed in an apartment that looked like it had been newly renovated. It was cozy and more than adequate. I felt like I could move in and just stay. The facilities were clean; fresh linens and very comfy beds. The kitchen has all the necessary amenities to be used to live in - except a dishwasher.

The staff were welcoming, the accomodation was excellent, spacious and well apportioned. The restruant had a good selection and was excellently produced. Our only regret was that we could only stay for one night, we have taken their card with us in the hope we have the pleasure of staying again in the future

Restaurant was excellant food and service but rooms was located approximately 400 meters away up a very steep hill. Rooms were very small with no ventilation except "open window'.

Great atmosphere in the Luther-Room and food of character. Spanish-mode dining room with Tapas for dinner, and excellent breakfast in lovely setting. Great location in Eisenach.

At the edge of the old city, which is small and walkable. The separateHennesberg guesthouse and conference center is partway up the mountaintoward the Wartburg and is quiet and convenient if one likes hiking andlistening to songbirds. But getting to and from breakfast in the mainbuilding involves a steep climb and is not for those who don't likeexercise. The Eisenacher Hof will give you a free taxi ride up ifnecessary (good when arriving with baggage)...

This is a very nice hotel in Eisenach. It is on the main street to theWartburg Castle, and the bus to the castle stops just a few feet fromthe hotel. It is also quite close to the train station.

We happened to be there for New Year's Eve and hotel had a New Year's Party, which included a buffet dinner. We made reservations to attend and had a great time. The best thing about attending the Party was that we met our new friends there and spent the next few days together sightseeing. I think we will always have contact with each other.

It's situated really beautiful, on the top of a (pretty steep) hill.Close to the citycenter in Eisenach and at the same time surrounded byforrest/nature. Fantastic view. Small but comfortable, clean and niceroom. Nice breakfast. Be careful coming by car ! There is only one smalland very steep road going up to the hotel.

This hotel was a wonderfully relaxing and cozy hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy. The hotel resturant's food was very good. The breakfast buffet was included in the price of the stay and the price was well worth it. I continued on to a Hilton in downtown Dresden and would say that the Haus Hainstein was even more comfortable than a Hilton.

Room was very nice and spacious as was the bathroom (completely up to date in fixtures!). Dining facilities were excellent. Had a great regional dinner in the older dining room. Breakfast was excellent - in more modern dining room. Wait staff was very attentive to us.(we were the only ones in the dining room!) Parking was easy- able to park by front door (great for us as we were in the middle of an ice storm). View from window would have been spectacular of Wartburg Castle, but it was fogged in the day we were there. Would like to return in spring/summer to enjoy the local forest and walk to the castle.

Perfect location beside the Alte Brucke, and very good access to the sightseeing area. Room was clean and nice, with beautiful view of the castle from the junior suite room. Breakfast was very good, too,

Family run and a very clean and modern facility. It was very quiet. They spoke English. We felt safe and secure. The breakfast was excellent. Bar and dining room offered everything we desired. There was an elevator if needed. And they had secure parking behind the hotel.

The hotel was ideally located for our purposes -- which were to visit the Bach House Museum and other Bach-related places in the city. The hotel is walkable from the Bahnhof, but one does have to walk up a rather large hill to get to the hotel. If you have a lot of baggage that could be a problem. Staff and food were very good.
