Excellent Hotel in Ebersberg and right in the heart of town. Theowners are very helpful, the breakfast is good, and there are lots ofnice spots to eat nearby, including the restaurant attached to thehotel, which is top class. The s4 allows you to get into Munichwithout the traffic.

The location and the staff. The hotel is located right near publictransportation in the Marienplatz in the heart or Munich near themarket. The staff was very friendly and helped us confirm our flights.The buffet breakfast was delicious. Our room was spotless and verymodern. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed 10 nights in a small Double room in this lovely hotel.The location is perfect. Only 5min from Marienplatz (S-Bahn), and 2min from Viktualienmarkt (Gourmet food, cafes, beer garden) Tram and Bus.Internet access was free. The hotel staff was very helpful and very nice. We definitely would stay there again.

The location of this hotel is excellent. Don't be put off by the fastfood joints either side of the hotel, once you're in the hotel youwouldn't know. (Plus they have free wi-fi) I stayed in a larger room, atan extra cost, so I can't comment about the standard double, but minewas great. The breakfast better than other places we stayed at duringour tour of Germany. Hotel staff were always very helpful and the hotelhad parking, although at an extra cost. It was also the only hotel wefound that had tea & coffee making facilities in the room during ourtrip, which was nice. I will be going back to Munich at some time andwill be planning to stay here.

The three best things about Hotel Schlicker are its central location in old town, the breakfast and the room we had was air conditioned. It was warm (95F) while we were there and the air conditioning was heaven, especially at night. You can't beat the location and the breakfast was outstanding, so many choices! The staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. Friends of ours travelled with family (Including small children) and recommended the hotel before we left for Munich. It was just my husband and I and we will definitely stay at Hotel Schlicker again.

This location in Munich is superb. You can see and feel the centre ofthe City everywhere you look. The large outdoor market and beer gardennext door is a great place for ppl who live in Munich full time and ustravellers who want to see it all in a few days. From Hotel Schlicker,you feel that the City is at your doorstep. We particularly appreciated the use of hotel bicycles that could be used every day we were there. Front desk staff were amazing, particularly Kerry who we dealt with the most during our week at the hotel. Our stay was very lovely. Rate - a 10!!

The hotel is conveniently located (1-2 min by walk from S-bahnRosenheimer Platz, 10-12 min from MarienPlatz).Very quiet street. Roomsare very spacious.A Lot of amenities(not always provided in 4-starhotels). Very good choice of tv channels(not only German). Fairly wellroom service. Breakfast is rather standard (for 4 star hotels) but it'squality is good.

The staff were very helpful in getting around the city and learning how to use the tram and other transport. The 18 tram was available just a block from the hotel. Very convenient for the Museum. Attractive breakfast and breakfast room. The windows sealed the room from the street noises very well. The clerk helped us find a church for Sunday services.

Location is perfect for attending events at the Munich Philharmonie as it is directly across the street. In addition, it is adjacent to the English Garden and only a short walk to the city Marienplatz, offering plenty of sites, resturants, and shopping opportunities yet tucked into a quiet corner. They offer underground parking on site for an additional fee.

We picked this hotel solely on location as it was one block from the Muenchen Hbf and made an easy connection to get back to the airport. The hotel is old but the staff is very friendly and eager to assist. The room was clean and spacious enough for 4. Location was lso good for getting to the city as it all of a 10 minute walk tops to get top the main shopping street leading to the heart of the main sites.

The best things: 1 - great location (very close to both the trainstation and the city center), 2 - staff (very friendly. I needed tocheck my e-mail they allowed me to use their computer and printnecessary documents). 3- breakfast (kitchen was small but there weremore than 5 types of meat/sausages, cheeses/cottage cheeses, breads andfruits (grapes, tangerine, banana, pineapple, apple, peach). Goofthings: clean room without any smell! (I stayed in Montree Hotel inMunich as well and room there was awful. Smoky room and stinking bed!)

Location is excellent. 6 min walk to bus station and 15 min walk to the very centre of Munich. Breakfast is tasty, beds very comfortable and is good value. The bathrooms are very basic, but fully functional. Rooms very spacious, they kindly upgraded us to a 4 bed room (instead of 3 bed) as it was available, giving us plenty of space. There are strip clubs dotted around the area, but if anything they add a bit of character and fun to the place. By no means affected our stay! Munich is wonderful, if I came back I would stay here. Staff very helpful and friendly.
