Having booked the hotel over internet, my sister and I were delighted tofind the hotel was all we hoped for, situated within easy walking of thetown centre where numerous cafes and restaurants are to be found,quality shops, and beautiful old buildings. Generous breakfasts witheggs cooked to your own taste. We had well appointed clean and quietrooms overlooking a charming courtyard. Courteous and hospitable staff(English speaking) made our stay very comfortable - we would nothesitate to recommend this hotel.

The hostess and her staff were all extremely friendly and offered us a cosy room and extra equipment included to increase our wellbeing. The situation of the hotel was quite near the city and it was clean and nice decorated with flowers and other nice things. The breakfast was something to remember and we can really recommend this hotel with the sense of being home.

Booked a triple room since the rate was good compared to a double room, and the extra ace was worth it. Good wifi. Breakfast was good. Free parking. Very good walking access to city centre bars etc

The central location - opposite the church, the market place and on theedge of the altstadt right across the road from the schloss - was ideal,especially as we were weekending without a vehicle. There were so manycafes and restaurants within easy walking distance, Taxis (to get to andfrom the station) were easily available and reasonably priced, eventhose taking our party of 6. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Thebreakfast buffet was excellent and frequently replenished.

Excellent location and incredible value for money. The free breakfast was quite good. The bathroom was a little too crammed. Public on-street parking in front of hotel (but not on Wednesday and Saturday early am because of the market). On-street parking free between 6pm and 9am, otherwise costs about 1 EUR per hour.

The staff was always very amiable and able to provide help on our various non-standard requests. Breakfast was very good, and the rooms very clean; the location of the hotel is truly excellent. The lobby and lobby bar are nice also.

Located in a beautiful town with wonderful historical buildings. The hotel itself was outstanding in decor, cleanliness and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and and very well appointed. The bedding and the bathroom were pristine. The welcome note and chocolate on the pillow indicates the thought given by the hotel owners. Breakfast was excellent. A large buffet and a huge variety of food to choose from. The hotel is located in a quiet street and an email from the hotel gave specific directions making it easy to find. I would stay here again.

The owners were very welcoming and paid great tenstion to detail from the rooms to laying out the fab breakfast you received every morning, and well worth the extra pennies. The hotel is situated not far from the town and the park making it easy to get your bearings and to get around, I would reconmend this hotel to anybody who is very fussy with standards and most certainly go back there myself, it is also very unkeeping with the other germany houses and is quaint.

Perfect location, close walking distance to Celle town but quiet and ina pretty, cobbled and tree-lined avenue. The hotel is an attractive andtraditional building which has been tastefully restored. The rroms arevery spacious and modern and meticulously clean. The owners are veryfriendly and welcoming and speak perfect English. The buffet breakfastis worth paying for, it is delicious and there is so much variety.

Easy to find, good parking and cheap, very friendly and nothing too muchtrouble. Walking distance from everywhere in town and the railwaystation. Cheap fares to every city but Berlin from Celle so good forxmas markets. Example 27 euros for 2 adult return to Hannover or Bremen.

nice owners, husband and wife. great traditional German breakfast, if you want a small hotel, walking distance to the Celle Zentrum, this is a good place.One thing, no telephones in the room, free WIFI works best downstairs, in the room can be spotty.

Very good service-friendly personal-good breakfast-very close to the towncenter-cheap-We booked an economy room but the hotel was not fully booked so we got a better room for the same price

Great location beside huge city park. Close to the local metro/train line, 5 mins walk. The stop is close to the city centre. Several decent restaurants in the immediate area. Breakfast was very good value for money. Staff very pleasant and helpful. The free WiFi was very helpful.

This was just a short stopover from Denmark to Italy. The indoorswimmingpool is nice - but remotely located and rather dark. We parkedat the 1st floor deck just 2 meters from the hotel main entrance :-)Excellent breakfast. Selfservice bar in the reception area.
