Very comfortable stay, nice clean room, there was a mix-up with ourreservation that was amended within minutes. Staff are very pleasant andwilling to help, within walking distance or a short tram journey to allthe lovely sights of Bremen, made easier by the complimentary publictransport card provided by the hotel.

We overnighted here to catch an early morning plane, having arrived in Bremen by train. Location next to the Hauptbahnhof is excellent - absolutely next door. We were also very pleased with the hotel's complimentary travel passes for the city transport system which meant that we did not have to worry about buying tickets for the tram to the airport the following morning. The tram stop (route 6) is also immediately opposite the hotel which again reduced the hassle. The restaurant provided an excellent light dinner - we could have eaten a full meal but didn't feel like one - and breakfast was exemplary. Would definitely stay there again if we return to Bremen.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good buffet style continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Nice location in leafy part of City, with good direct tram access to City Centre. I would stay at the Hotel Helldt again.

Having been to Bremen many times over many years we knew that its location was very convenient for the city centre and from a personal viewpoint, for visiting relatives and friends. It is nicely located away from the hustle and bustle of daily life therefore is quiet and peaceful.

The best part of the stay was the gentleman at the reception desk...veryhelpful, very friendly and very responsive. The location is good...easywalk to the downtown pedestrian street and central attractions. Otherthan that, we were frankly disappointed. Perhaps we expected too muchfor the price paid.

An extremely convenient and cheap hotel. The room was very well heated - outside it was minus 5 degrees and snowy, but inside it was cosily warm. Quiet too - we just heard the occasional tram rumble past in the small hours. It is very well located - an easy 10 minute walk from the Matktplatz. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast not available, but reasonable cafes nearby, some open from 6am.

The staff, well, actually for the whole stay I saw only 1 man behind the check in desk and he was great - he was very friendly, spoke very good English and there were no problems. About facilities - from previous reviews I knew there where almost nothing so I didn`t expect and wasn`t looking for anything (no fancy bars & restaurants & children playgrounds; we ate, drank and played outside of the hotel). As I stayed there with my kid I asked a room with a window and a larger bed and I got it (even double, many thanks to the host for that :) ). I needed a place to sleep for 2 days and for that it was excellent. The location was excellent as well, max 10 minutes walk from Rathaus and tram/bus stops were nearby.

I have filled this space on another email just a couple of days ago as I stayed at the Atlantic Grand Bremen twice this month ie April and also in October last. The reasons I have gone back are twofold: firstly, the excellent standard of the staff and secondly, of course - the excellent location of the hotel. The reception, room and restaurant staff act so to make one feel "zu Hause". So I'll be returning soon I hope for the hospitality in the Atlantic Grand Bremen.

Atlantic Grand Hotel is located in downtown Bremen, close to publictransportation, shopping, but also minutes to the river. The hotel isdesigned in a modern, minimalistic style. It offers private parkingwhich is convenient. The service is kind and professional. The rooms arecomfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet offers a goodvariety of tasty foods, as well as a possibility of ordering a pancakeor an omelette. Overall, it is a good hotel for a business trip or ashort city visit.

I travel about 6 months per year and stay in a variety of hotels, fromthe simple country hotel to the more luxurious star hotels in majorcities. This hotel is a real gem amongst any I have stayed at in Europethis year. Inside, it is a well designed, modern building which short ofoffering the glamour of one of the more well known 5 star hotels offersluxurious accommodation equipped with everything the business travellermy need. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of food, includingcooked to order dishes, along with northern German food which whileperhaps not a favourite of the international arrivals were delicious andwell presented. The location of the hotel could not be better betweenthe river Weser and all it has to offer in terms ofrestaurants/entertainment and the quaint and wonderful shopping area ofthe Boettcher Strasse. I do not generally recommend hotels as therequirements of travellers can vary a great deal but it would be hard toimagine why anyone would not enjoy the

A charming little apartment on a quiet sidestreet in Walle. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment (Rubino) was well equipped, everything worked and breakfast was waiting in the fridge as promised. Even has it's own little "backyard". Nicely furnished with personality and artwork. Shops nearby and good public transport connections within reach (tram lines).

We spent 4 days with 1,5 year daughter in this apartment. It was great time for us, Petra (owner) was wonderful, the apartment was in a very quite place, very well equiped with full of owners art works. The tram (Nr. 2) station is 5 min. walk from apartment and it takes about 10 minutes to get to the city center. There are many shops and restaurants near by. We very recommend it to all!!

We (5 adults and child 10 years old) have stayed 5 nights in Depedance de Art. It's very nice little house with 2 floors, ?ourtyard, roof terrac?, 2 big rooms and 1 small (just for child). There are all necessary equipment -- teapot, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, plate. Location is excellent! Free car parking without problem. Breakfast in fridge is excellent. Near is supermarket and tram stop. Very good place for independent travelers and to feel spirit of a city!

Clean and comfortable. Spacious room and bathroom. B&B is in quiet area but a 50 metre walk takes you to trams every 10 mins into centre, and 50 metres in other direction to Weser river. Can also walk along shop-lined main road into centre if wish. Very good value for money but also a peaceful base but which was really convenient for access to town centre. We would totally recommend it.

A very friendly and helpful staff. A clean and tidy hotel. Good breakfast. Free tea-making facilities present. Close to several good affordable restaurants (a very good modern vegetarian asian restaurant nearby). The hotel is based in a good neighbourhood. Walking to the centre is possible and very doable along the river or a shopping lane. Trams stopping around the corner going several times per hour. All in all we had a very good time, also thanks to the friendly hostess.

My partner and I had a very enjoyable stay with our two young childrenand my oldest who lives in Germany. Marion the owner is a lovely ladywho is very helpful without being bothersome. She makes you feel verywelcome and comforatable. The family room, consisting of a double, anadjoining bathroom, kids room that can sleep 3 and balcony was perfectfor our needs. The guesthouse is situated is a lovely part of Bremennear to the river and many shops and restaraunts. It is a leisurelyfifteen minute stroll into the city centre. We have sent Marion athankyou card and expressed our desire to return soon. I would recommendBremen and Gastehaus Peterswerder to anyone especially families.
