The room facilities we fine and the value was good. Breakfast was abuffett shared with the cafe/bakerie at the bottom. Good views from thebalcony was pleasant and the location to restaurants was outstanding.

This hotel could not be in a more perfect location. The room was spotless, very modern and very warm. Bathroom excellent. Floors a bit uneven due to age of building but added to the charm. Views over the Mosel river and Kues bridge superb. Breakfast good.

I found the hotel ideal for exploring the town as it was located right in it. Access was not a problem for unloading a car, and parking was not a major problem as there is a carpark across the road or even use the owner's own garage for 5 Euros. Rooms were spacious, spotless and modern and perfect for a couple - and we even had our 16 month old boy with us. Breakfast was also very good.

Location in the heart of Bernkastel. Nice rooms and bar area. Clean and modern with excellent shower. Used garage to store motorbikes and €4 per day per bike is reasonable. Good breakfast but strange that cold milk seems to eb in short supply. ie not supplied for the table unless requested.

The Hotel was clean,Staff was only seen at Breakfast and also we only booked for Bed and Breakfast we were charched 11Euros for the Restaurant for each night,when we wanted to use the Restaurant one night we were told it was shut due to only 5 Resedents in the Hotel,but were still charched the 11 Euros for it.

A high quality stay. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Easy to find, andideal central location. We would recommend the 5 euro 3 day parkingticket down by the river. All very efficient and well organised at thehotel. We loved Bernkastel and managed to fit in many activities in justtwo days: Rundfahrt, 2 visits to the Castle, winetasting, enjoyablestrolls through the town, a bit of history. A beautiful autumnalexperience, wonderful colours in the forests, with the benefit of verygood late October weather. The booking-in process worked veryefficiently. Thank you.

First the hotel staff was not eager to provide wood for the fireplace inthe suite, despite that was requested in the original booking. Theargumentation was that if the fireplace was used, the room would besmelling for the next guests to arrive. Since availability of thefireplace was the main reason why we chose this hotel, we insisted, andthen had the fireplace nicely prepared, and could enjoy our stay asplanned. Otherwise the hotel is very convinient and breakfast was great.If coming for wine tasting to this region (which we this time were not)there are wines from 17 estates available for tasting and buying in thehotel. So, if too lazy to go around to wineries, can do all of that notleaving the hotel.

The WeinArtHotel appears to have recently undergone an almost total update to all its rooms, with the result that they are now very modern and beautifully equipped. The owners and their staff are friendly and accommodating - making fresh scrambled egges on demand for the lovely breakfast. The dinners are excellent and there is a magnificent wine list. Half the rooms overlook a quiet street and the other half overlook the busy L47 road into Bernkastel, although these rooms have lovely views of the River Moselle and the whole Moselle Valley. Recommend you decide what you want and ask when booking. Observations: the internet is fully accessible but only by cable (loaned to you from Reception) so wireless-only devices will not be able to reach the web. Secondly, the hotel is quite a long way out of the centre of Bernkastel (1.2km). However, there are buses on the main road and if you consult Google Earth, you will see that there is footpath down past the local schools down to the riversid

This hotel is superb!!!!! We are compelled to write at length as thehotel is extremely worthy of a substantial praise. We are an Irishcouple and this was our very first time travelling to Germany. We wantedto have a peaceful, restful, romantic weekend and also experience theChristmas Markets. We are absolutely delighted we visited Bernkastel-Kues, it is a very magical, special, characteristic, romantic andfriendly place. We flew into Frankfurt Hahn airport and travelled the 25minute journey to Christiana's WeinArtHotel by taxi. We are of the viewthat a hotel you select for a short break can often make or break yourweekend away. Our stay in this hotel has been one we will cherish forsome time, and we will definately revisit again. Situated in a beautiful German town on the Rheine the hotel has a great view over the river and is located ideally for the numerous bars, restaurants and shops so you can easily walk everywhere without any need to use the car.

Great accommodation and breakfast. Rooms appeared to be recentlyrenovated and were very quiet. Had a wonderful view of the river and thetown. We were two couples on a bicycle trip and stayed one night. Securelocked garage for the bicycles. Within walking distance of all thesights and close to the bike path.

This Hotel is an excellent value, especially if you are looking for agood starting point to begin your daily adventures in the area. Staffwas very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was good if not typicalfor Germany - Brotchen with meats and cheeses, and marmalades. No lunchor dinner but there are plenty of places to eat in Bernkastel.

Just 4km out of Berncastle,about a 40 min walk along the beautiful "Mosel River".The hotel itself was very well located for a quiet break.Ideal for walking and cycling.Mr and Mrs Prum are very welcoming,answering any questions,and generally helping wherever possible.We were lucky enough to be there for one of the wine testings at the hotel,an experience in itself..We will definately go back.

Whenever we travel in Europe/Mosel area our first call is to see if we can garner a room at E. Pruem. The rooms are beautifully appointed (over the years we've tried at least four of them) and we feel at home here. The spaciousness is appealing to us as we are used to ample room in the USA. Heated bathroom floors and in some rooms the high ceilings and large windows overlooking the vineyard are a gift of beauty. We love eating breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Mosel...unfortunately it was a bit to cold for us this time. Also, we find the clientelle interesting.

The rooms were very comfortable en have enough space - it was nearly directly in the center of the town - we had a very fine 5 course dinner in the restaurant - professional serviert and with the neccessary explications. The parking was about 300 meters from the hotel. It is situated in an historical town at the bordfers off the mosel (wine region)

Excellent location, right in the heart of the old town but just a short walk to the river. We had the top floor room which was excellent, well appointed, more like a loft apartment. We took breakfast next door which was very good with friendly staff. Car parking just a short way up the street in a gated area was a real advantage. Would stay there again without hesitation.

Spacious room with a sitting room and small kitchen. Excellent location!The wine grew right outside our window and the room faced the lovelycobbled street. We arrived on Ruhetag (rest day) so the Gästehaus andrestaurant were closed, which meant that we had to get the key from acoded locked box outside the Gästehaus. It all worked perfectly,including instructions for parking in the hotel's private parking plot.Great value for money !
