Another traveller described this as a Travelodge on acid - they pretty much nailed it;) A fellow traveller suggested it's like Ikea but on a diet. There is lime green in abundance and its minimalist throughout so be prepared for brightness! The hotel has really friendly staff, fantastically comfy beds and for the centre of Berlin is really quiet so a good nights sleep is assured. Free wifi throughout is a great bonus too and there's a really good Italian restaurant next door. Breakfast is pricey at €15 but a five minute walk to the Sony Center and the Alex restaurant does an all you can eat buffet for €6 and a bucket of coffee for €3. The rooms also have laptop size safes, great bathroom products and fab power showers. The bar is a must for one last cocktail of the day before heading to bed.

This was my second trip to Berlin and my second stay in this hotel. Itis very modern and decorated in a cool minimalist style. The rooms aresomewhat small, but they have everything you need, and are verycomfortable. I really like the walk-in showers. The staff is veryfriendly. They have a very good restaurant with Spanish food and tapas.I really like the bar off the lobby to go relax in the evenings. If youlike red wine at all they have a Spanish red by Onix that you must try.Ok, that is a lot of detail, but I do like this hotel, and I will stayhere again when I visit Berlin again. The location is great too, onlyabout 150 yards from Checkpoint Charlie. If you go past Checkpointcharlie and take a left there's a great Thai place that has some of thebest sushi I've had in Germany too.

My adult daughter is studying design and I thought she would like thishotel. She liked the feel of the building. The location was great, thebedrooms very quiet and comfortable and the shower really powerful andhot. We only ate breakfast once in hotel as much too expensive forus.Neither of us normally eats a large breakfast and seatingarrangements were cramped and unrelaxing.T.V. Not working in room onfirst night so we moved to another room. A reduction in room cost forfirst night would have been a nice gesture. We both really likedbreakfast time till 11.00 am as neither of us are early risers! As Britswe are always dissapointed that european hotels do not provide a kettleand teabags etc in room for that late night and early morming cuppa!Stff at desk very helpful and friendly.
