This is a good hotel choice for guests who are looking for basicservices - a good bed, decent shower, location reasonable close tocity center, and a filling breakfast. The Hotel Schweizer Hof was allthose things.

Pleasant and comfortable 3-star hotel, no surprises. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, with a good selection of fresh fruit, meat, cheese, bread etc. It was quite easy to arrive by public transport. Although not absolutely in the centre of town it was only a very short walk to the city centre and the various sights and baths etc. I think the room prices are good value for Baden-Baden given that it is an expensive town.

The hotel staff was very accomodating. Anything I needed, they supplied as getting me a wash cloth which most hotels don't supply. They were good in telling me where I could get a bus to various places. The breakfast buffets were fantastic. You were able to get so many items for breakfast that it wasn't necessary to eat lunch. The staff was really great in the dining room and at the front desk.

The location of the hotel is very good as we could do everything within walking distance. Breakfast is excellent and served up to late (which I like) but rooms are only OK although spacious. Pool is nice after a day enjoining the lovely city. Overall, we had a great stay matching our expectations at a good value for money due to the discount of the website, making this offer unbeatable. At a full rate, the hotel could be a bit overpriced.

Nice location, close to city centre and the caracalla. What makes thishotel very attractive for us is that they have simming pools withthermal water, both indoor and outfoor. The outdoor pool is located in awonderful peaceful garden and going to the pool in the morning makes areally nice start of the day. The hotel provides bath robes for yourconvenience, but you should bring slippers as they do not give them. I can also say that the breakfast is nice. If you book this hotel, ask for the garden view. I booked a deluxe room but they gave me a room with a road view, which is quite inconvenient and inappropriate if you want to relax. The room was rather small and with a low ceiling, it did not look like any of the photos.

What our room was lacking in size it more than made up for in characterand charm. The hotel is right in the center of town, walking distanceto both spa's and all the other sites.Our room overlooked the LowenbrauBeer Garden. Nice breakfast selection. Friendly staff that spokeEnglish well.

A very characterful hotel in the centre of everything - opposite a goodbeer kellar and bang in the middle of shops and restaurants (includingits own!) Friendly and helpful staff. The building was very old but thebedroom was comfortable and the bathroom modern and clean with a veryefficient shower. A decent breakfast.

I liked the very nice old timbered house. It is very charming. The rooms are decorated very nice, typical black forest. The staff was very helpful. And I liked the central position in Baden-Baden. You don´t need a car. Everything is very close. I visited the Burda Museum, Caracalla-spa. It was very interesting. I can recommend the city!

First day we came very lately - in the 22.00 instead of 19.00. Hotel was opened and keys of our number was on the table near reception. It was excellent. Very calm silent hotel, nice staff, polite, adequate and interesting; inside it smells very good! This hotel is non-smoking, it is so fresh and pleasant. If you want to smoke you can go outside and smoke - no problem. Great breakfasts was waiting for us every morning.

This is a very nice family running hotel. We enjoyed everything here: location (easy to go from here to Baden-Baden and close to French border; the hotel is situated in a nice village and if you have breakfast on the terrace you see the vineyards around; quiet neighborhood), staff is friendly and always ready to help you, services (rich and good breakfast, quite nice menu and tasty food at their own restaurant, room was cleaned every day).

Hotel Altenberg is quaint and comfortable, and the staff are wonderfully friendly and accommodating, not to mention multi-lingual. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the surrounding area very beautiful with hills covered in vineyards and forest. The room was spotless with a great shower and bedside reading lamps, warm comforters on the bed, and heat. The breakfast, which is included in the cost, was sumptious, and the dining room is sunny and cheery. We appreciated being able to pay in cash or with a credit card.

The hotel is good in general, but I do not think this is 4 stars hotels,its 3 stars or below. It's not far from city center 15 to 20 minuteswalking or you could use the bus which is stop by 2 to 3 minuteswalking. The room is good and clean relatively because I found somestains on one of the chair. If you have car the parking cost you somefees for the whole stay. The internet will cost you 6 Euro for the wholestay but you could not use this access to multiple devices in the sametime. The breakfast is very poor. In general the hotel good for familiesand those who need to have suite with reasonable price but don't expectmuch from this hotel because it's not 4 stars hotel.

The Batschari Suite Hotel is very luxurious, modern, very quiet and isin a excellent location for guests who want to walk into city. The hotelstaff was very professional, helpful, friendly and provided excellentcustomer service. The breakfast buffet was a great bonus and affordable.I am returning to the hotel with my family in June as it was such apleasant experience and booking a suite for family and friends is theoverall best way to travel. The privacy, price, space and decor of thesuite, staff friendliness and location of this hote/suite is my reasonfor returning.

Suite is very comfortable and quiet, with also a very nice bath. Definitely a perfect getaway for relaxation. We almost didn't want to go anywhere but just stay inside. One night we decided to stay close and go to the hotel lounge for a few drinks. The bartender was very sweet. We had a good time. The city center, spas and casino are a nice 15 min walk - or 2 bus stop, very convenient.

The bi-lingual (Frech-German) staff who were very welcoming.Theexceptional breakfast buffet ( in stark contrast to American hotels inthe same price range where cereal, milk and a waffle-maker are about thebest you can hope for) with scrambled eggs; a wonderful variety of freshfruit; a basket of different rolls (delicious); fresh cold cuts in arefrigerated display case and much more.The place was spotless andcomfy.We will return next year.

Liked the location, it was also very easy to find as it was on the mainroad through Baden Baden. Not too close to the town so it was nice andquiet. We travelled in Germany for two weeks staying in various hotels,and the food at this one (which was the cheapest) was the best of themall. We had booked the half board option and the 3 course meal we wereprovided with was excellent in every way, and was fantastic value formoney. The staff were very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay ant the Landgasthof Hirsch! The hotel issituated on a long street about 5 minutes by car from Baden Baden centerwith very few houses on either side before meeting the edge of thebeautiful black forest. A very quiet beautiful area. We also enjoyed adelicious meal at the hotel restaurant, I recommend the local house pinot-gris wine, it was wonderful. The staff was very professional andfriendly and spoke excellent English. Our room was very spacious andconfortable.

This is a family run business. Bathroom and bedroom are both modern andgood size.Flat screen tv and wifi is offered free of charge. Comparedto overpriced Baden-Baden, Steinbach is a more than suitablealternative if you have a motor (15 minute drive into town). Berakfastquality is good and dinner was excellent with local and seasonalproducts. Thumbs up all the way.

The food was outstanding. Christmas decorations must of took a week to put up. The hotel had a rustic feel and if your looking for the real Germany you might just find it here. It was a shame that it was only an over night stop. The rooms we had for four of us done the job, but very basic. The evening meal is a must, I had the stag my wife the chicken both meals outstanding.

Nice location, 10 km from Baden Baden. Easy to find the hotel. ARAL fuel station in opposite of the hotel. Building where we stay is new (2008), clean and good beds. LCD TV and free internet (after registration).Wifi Signal receipt is not everywhere strong. Good location for a stop during a trip but also a good location for Baden-Baden visit. Gasthaus Linde has a simple but nice restaurant, friendly for travelers with children.
