Very comfortable and clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. The roomswere spotless, beds comfortable and bathroom modern with goodfacilities. The breakfast was comprehensive and excellent quality andthe staff very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at thisproperty again and recommend it to friends & colleagues.

We arrrived at this hotel early in the morning after 13hrs fly & 2hrs drive, they didn't have room yet for us. But the staff is very kind, let us use the sauma facilities so that we can use the shower, make changes, get ready for our meeting. That was great services, including clean towels. Breakfast is good, room is very bright. Great Hotal!

the hotel staff are excellent and very helpful at all opportunities. Michael was particulalrly helpful during our stay. Each room has a different character and style. It is well located and peaceful. It was also good as a group to have suites with sitting rooms

The location of hotel is very good. It's within walking distance of theold center of the city, but very peaceful. The history of the hotel isvery interesting, though it's mainly apparent in the restaurant areadownstairs. Easily reached by bus from the train station, and the staffwas very helpful.

A very warm welcome awaited us and the attention to detail set thishotel above most we have stayed at, including a name plate at our doorwith our name on it. A welcome drink of our choice was brought to usupon our arrival. The in-house restaurant was excellent, the foodbeautifully prepared and presented and the service impeccable. Our suitewas furnished with antiques but above all extremely roomy andcomfortable. The setting, across the river from the "old town" was quietand peaceful but still only a ten minute leisurely walk away. We highlyrecommend this hotel.

A great hotel, Ideal for a base to explore Heidelberg and the NeckarValley. Close to Local Public Transport. Our spacious room had viewsover the Neckar. We were recommended local restaurants, these were ofgreat quality and value for money. Good Breakfast

The location of this hotel in proximity to the old town is excellent. It's a bit off the beaten path-a gps system can get you there but it might be difficult w/o that sort of help. Presently, there is alot of construction on the river strand leading to the hotel...but not on the hotel street itself, so don't be deterred. Free parking on site is a bonus this close to the city. The hotel staff was helpful in suggesting we leave the vehicle at the hotel and hop on city bus # 34- right across the street and running on 20 minute intervals. Take old pedestrian bridge exit and walk across the river the the main entrance to the Alt Stadt...a lovely approach! Although we were two hours earlier than usual check-in time, they accommodated us immediately. The inclusive breakfast was one of the nicest we had during our travels. All in all a good value-although the rooms are quite sparse, they are clean and have lovely river views.

The hotel is in a great located in the old town. It is very close to the Bahnhof / railway station and bus stops. The hotel had a great choice of food for breakfast.

Convenient location is the key strength of the hotel. The staff are veryvery nice. I personally like the old building structure as it gives ahistorical touch of the leisure stay in this old town which is famousfor old castle.
