It was simply amazing. Food and staff went above and beyond. We want to come back soon with many guests. Wonderful family/honeymoon/relaxation place! Should be considered a 4 star hotel!

The Seeblick is an excellent family-run hotel which deserves a ratinghigher than its 3 star superior rating. The level of service andattention to detail is better than many 4 and 5 star hotels. The staffwere all very friendly, helpful and polite. The hotel and gardens arebeautifully maintained and help to create an atmosphere where you canenjoy a relaxing holiday. The location is superb, with wonderful viewsof Thumsee and the surrounding area. It is a lovely area for walking,but is also very convenient for excursions to Bad Reichenhall orSalzburg. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends, and lookforward to my next visit.

This mountain inn was such a pleasant surprise! The location is sobeautiful, the rooms are huge, and every traveling need was met. Theinnkeepers are friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing(everything you could possibly want to choose), and the beds werecomfortable. The perfect place to relax and get away from the city inthe most picturesque setting, yet close enough to the city to make daytrips easy. I wish we had stayed longer!

What a fantastic place! Heidi & her staff were warm & friendly& nothing was too much trouble. We were thrilled with our room withbalcony & lakeside view which all guests were able to enjoy.Breakfast offered a wide range of different food to cater for allnationalities & a bottomless coffee pot. We would totally recommendthis hotel even though there was no evening meal available this was nota problem because restaurants were a short drive away.

Don't bother looking anywhere else !! This hotel was superb. Thestaff were extremely helpful and friendly and could not have doneanything else to make our stay more comfortable. The 6 Euro per personbreakfast was one of the best breakfasts we have had regardless ofprice. The view from the hotel room over the lake with the trees andmountains in the background was incredible. The hotel is approx 30minutes drive from Salzburg, 30 mins from Lake Konigsee etc.... so greatlocation. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel in the future.

This is a great hotel located in a pastoral location next to the salt park. We had a great room with a beautiful view of the park and mountains. The hotel is very clean and the complimentary breakfast, which is cooked to order, was very nice.

The location next to the park,the accessbability to the main places in the town is perfect. At last but not least,we enjoyed very much the culture events that took place in the park & the city.The concerts were great. We booked for tow nights & stayed for four nights.

The hotel is right at the back entrance of a beautiful city park with anold, open "spa" building with interesting tall walls with local mineralwater dripping down from above. It is a good place to relax or walkaround on a rainy day. The front desk lady was very friendly andextremely helpful. Thanks.

Authentic German experience! Charming, comfortable and very tidy/clean gasthaus. Hospitality of host family can not be surpassed!!! They do all possible to take care of guests. Wonderful breakfast, amazing view, quick bike ride or short walk to city center. US Army couple on R&R. Can't wait to go back with family! 10/10 all around.

Everybody of the Peter family is ready to give you a warm support andassistance at anytime and any question you could have as the road tonearest outlet center as sightseeing in Austria etc. They even couldmake us learn German if we wanted. The vacation house is really cosy& clean, has all the dining facilities you need. It was our secondstay there and not the last :)

This was the case when my expectations were far exceeded! Magnificent alpine views (a look from the balcony in the morning already makes you happy), perfect location (aside from the town centre, but just 10 minutes walk to the Rupertus baths), the ideal example of a family-runned hotel - friendly, welcoming, caring, absolutely charming hosts. Each guest feels special! Good variety breakfasts are included and the restaraunt operates until 6pm - very convenient. I was really happy to spend my special birthday in such a wonderful place!

The old furnish in the room. This was very nice and beautiful. The placeand the view is great. It's not far form Salzburg you are there in20 minutes by car.

Very good place for the price. Owners very friendly and speak someEnglish. The lady that ran the place was very helpful in all requestsand wanted to please. She looked up addresses on the Internet for us. Itis in the hills andhas a very nice view. Rooms were good and decoratedin a unique way. You do need a car to get there and not much of near byplaces for dinner.

Pension Schwarzenbach was a joy for our family. We stayed in the familyroom which consisted of 2 bedrooms, one with 2 single beds, the otherwith a double. It had 2 bathrooms, one full and one just a toilet andsink. It also had a huge balcony. The view from the masterbedroom andbalcony were incredible, almost storybook like. The bathrooms were amongthe cleaners I can remember, the rest of the apartment was very clean.The breakfast was excellent with a huge variety of hot and cold items,cereals and yoghurts. Very tasty. The staff were incredibly friendly andconversational, very nice people who care about their customers. I fullrecommend this pensioner for a family of 4 (plus a baby in a crib!).

The place is charming! It is just 20 min drive away of Salzburg but yet in the beautiful province. It is quite comfortable, and is packed up with everything you need for a week of a family vacation. It also has a great yard and playground for the little ones.

Very nice and quite family hotel and apratments, clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. Brilliand for the price we payed. Ideal for those who travel by car. Wanderful mountain view, quite garden and all the kitchen equipment you need at your dislposal. We were very happy to stay their and will certainly chose it once again as soon as we go to South Bavaria.
