Weird placement of bed, or maybe bed was a square shape. Bad carpet, old smelly room. Rude staff. Too many nice hotel in area to stay here.

Good, comfortable hotel with excellent location right next to the BadNauheim Kurpark, meaning excellent walking/jogging facilities. Breakfastwas ok, but in terms of meals, the good news was the evening meal - anexcellent range of dishes available and extremely well cooked andserved. An ideal location either for a business meeting or (as in ourcase) for a private stay as well. (Only a few minutes walk from theexcellent city sps facilities (indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, infraredtreatments etc.)

Charming older Jugendstil hotel. I liked the look and feel of theoriginal architecture and neighborhood in a classic European spa town.Excellent breakfast. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. Hotel Spoettelwas relaxing and comfortable. We felt very much at home. We stayed onthe top floor and the elevator was nice especially when taking theluggage up and down.

Very spacious single room, bigger than my apartment at home. Authentic historical style, beautiful antique furniture, great old photos in the walls, great breakfast with service. There is nothing new in this hotel besides door locks and minibar, which is relaxing. Good value for money. There is also a piano and someone played it in the morning. Excellent location, 5 minute walk from the train station and the city center.

What a pleasant surprise. Loved it. Big room, great bed, friendly staff. I found this hotel on booking.com. Not usually wowed by small and/or German hotels but this one was outstanding. Recommended to all people at my conference for next year.

Liked the warm welcome, the dinner was outstanding, the staff professional and very friendly. Had a large single room with balcony, british style furnished with marble bathroom, very nice! Approx. 30 minutes away from Frankfurt main station by train and 5 min. by Taxi to Bad Nauheim Center. It's outside Bad Nauheim so if you want to enjoy some nightlife, you need a car. My recomendation if you don't need to stay in Frankfurt city center!

I was pleasantly surprised! I knew the hotel was on a street which runs through the Red Light District, but found the hotel on the edge and removed from the worst of the district. The train station is truly minutes away. And the foot-bridge to the museums is right down the street. The cleanliness and breakfast make it an excellent value! I will stay here again.

About two-minute walk to Main Train Station. Very convenient. Veryclean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Compared to other hotels I havestayed during Frankfurt Book Fair, when hotel price at least tripled,the value of the price of this hotel is very good. I mistakenly overbooked one extra night. They let me cancelled it even it was supposed tobe non-refundable. Will stay there again.

This was my second stay at the Ambassador. I visit Frankfurt regularly. Lately I have been visiting by train. The Ambassador is a five-minute walk from the train station, thus making it easy to get to and from the station at odd hours. The hotel is also a footbridge-walk away from the museums. The rooms are clean and the décor is modern—the hotel is recently renovated. We had a quiet room on the Hinterhof, away from the elevator. The entire hotel is non-smoking. Finally, and just as important in my choice, the breakfast is fabulous! The Ambassador Hotel is certainly excellent value.

Perfect location, next to the Zeil. Room (5th floor) was comfortable,well furnished and modern. Shower is huge and bathroom was not cold atall. Breakfast was good. We booked the parking for two days but itseemed that we could have parked in the street of the hotel for free(during weekend only I think).

Hotel was ideally located in the centre of Frankfurt. It is only walkingdistance to most places of interest and a very short walk to theunderground. Parking is on hotel premise and much cheaper than pubic parking The hotel was clean and to a good standard. Breakfast was also good. Staff were very helpful

I stayed at Residence with friends. I do not think that hotel is worththe money. Its location is good but do not expect any confort orsatisfactory services.

The hotel is reasonably priced, room was of a decent size andlocation is good. Please note, Residence and City Hotel are the same thing, I assume the variation in name is to escape the negative reviews that City Hotel has acquired.
