Very little . I did not know it was a Deutsche telecom/post training hotel . The hotel was very harsh looking with no soft edges . Staff did not seem to be trained well .When we awoke to shower there was no hot water . I asked reception what the problem was . Technical she said and that rather coldly was it .Construction work was going on and very loud drilling started at 8 am . We had to hurriedly leave the room to avoid the deafening noise

Tucked away in a small wood on the edge of Bad Honnnef. Seemed brand new, but with a contemproary modernist interior, rather than funky po-mo. Everything beautifully finishhed, the rooms were high quality environments overloooking woods on all sides. The bedrooms were comfortable and tranquil, with free broadband (and a computer TV, if you didn't have a laptop). Breakfast was of superb quality with a huge variety of fresh local produce. Lastly the staff were extremely professional, but also unexpectedly helpful when I discovered I'd left my visa card at my previous hotel. All this came at a remarkably low (introductory?) price of €38 for a single room with breakfast. I imagine this wil rise, but one wouldn't really have cause for complaint if it was twice as much..

The atmosphere in the hotel was relaxed with basic comfort and very quiet. Perfect destination by train with ICE and Regionalzug to the station of Unkel, then walk your way to simply this outside village near the river Rhein. Beautiful surroundings to explore, especially if you like walking!

Friendly staff. Restaurant on-site with good food. Bowling alley on-site. Rooms were in general comfortable and quiet. It's only a 15 minutedrive from the hotel to the city center.

The staff is excellent! Very, very helpful. Good clean room, comfortable bed, rich and tasty breakfast. Location is very close to the airport (20 minutes walking), and 10 minutes by bus to Porz train station - journey to the city centre takes 20-30 minutes.

Excellent response from apartment owner. I forgot to notify him 24 hours in advance but he still came very quickly. Very nice facilities, especially the washing machine and the kitchen, but it is an apartment after all. Also close to U-bahn station (3 of them in fact).

Great location in Cologne city centre in quiet area near Old Town South (Altstadt). The main railway station and sights, including the famous Cathedral, German-Roman museum, Ludwig museum, Philharmonic Concert Hall, River Rhine are 12-15-minute walk away from the hotel. Main shopping street Hohe-strasse just 3-minute away. Owners were very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and warm. I really recommend this hotel.
