We have decided for a cycle holiday and would like to try Bad Bentheim. We were lucky with the location as it is just perfect. It is about 4/5 km from Bad Bentheim as for us it doesn't have to be in the city. It is just huge of space (with golf course surrounding it). Lovely ! It has nice terrace with a lot of sun. The size of cakes they served !!! We did five different routes in 5 days and you can just join in the routes from the hotel, i.e. you don't need to cycle far to the starting point or any point on the different routes. The staff are excellent and friendly. We got back from our cycle tour and enjoyed our beer on the terrace. Quick freshened up in the room and back on the terrace for lovely dinner. It is just the beautiful location and the space and the nature around it.

Staff was very nice and was happy to please the customer. The food in the restaurant was very good - the breakfast was adequate - something for everyone - however my eggs were too dry - couldn't eat them. This hotel is off the beaten path - and is priced accordingly - but the accommodations were as good if not better than any basic hotel in a metro area.

The managers, Frank and Anke, made us feel so welcome and upon ourarrival Frank explained so clearly all we needed to know about our stayin the Pension and where to eat in town. The breakfasts we more themample with boiled eggs, different wonderful breads and rolls, cold cutsmeats and a good variety of cheeses. Frank and Anke created a warm andfamily friendly atmosphere.
