I selected the hotel because it was close to the train station. It wasjust across the street. I was traveling by train from Munich toFrankfurt airport and wanted to spend a day exploring Aschaffenburgduring the trip. The hotel was perfect. It was quiet, convenient, andvery nice. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very nice.

I found the staff, particularly Mrs Stephanie Staab, very helpful and friendly. I only stayed one night but I thought that I was in good hands in a 'proper' hotel.

IT was terrible. It's old, shabby and incoveniently located. When I arrived I was told by the taxi driver that I had to go to aanother hotel across the street to sign in. It was a busy main road. Had the driver not told me I would have been stranded. I would strongly advise against this hotel and feel I deserve a full refund for the deception that was published on the Internet about this hotel.

Very good value for money. The room was very clean and adequately furnished. Parking available across the road, we used the secure garage as this was an overnight stay and the car was fully packed for a holiday. Breakfast and dinner across the road at the 'partner' hotel, no prblem as this was reflected in the price reduction for our room. No problems crossing the road as there is a refuge in the road and cars stopped to let us cross as though it was a pedestrian crossing. Excellent meal in the restaurant.

Very clean, comfortable room in a superb location. The bedroom and ensuite shower room looked recently decorated, plain and simple but perfectly adequate. Breakfast was good and included in the price. All in all excellent value for money.

Everything was perfect during our stay! We had to leave the hotel at 7:00 and, in spite that breakfast is served from 7:15, the owner prepared the breakfast for us before 7:00! Very nice detail from his side! There is a vending machine in the hotel and the location is great.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hofgarten Apartments. The lady was very niceand helpful and spoke English. During the booking, I requested thelowest floor possible, which they honored. Someone wrote about nothaving washcloths, but when requested, they supplied us with somethingsimilar. Also, some people are saying that they didn’t clean the roomfor several days, this is an apartment, it is not a hotel where theyclean and make your bed every day at twice the cost. If you need extratowels or replacements, just ask. The lady also helped us washing someof our clothes. We had a room on the street side of the building. Yes,you will hear the traffic with the windows opened, but it was not toobad during the night.

Excellent location to visit Frankfurt. A 10 - 15 minute walk across the Main pedestrian bridge and through the Old Town, sees you in the heart of the city. Good breakfast. If you are lucky, parking is possible right outside the hotel, otherwise a multi-storey car park (about 10 Euros/night) is available just round the corner.

This was my second stay at the Maingau Hotel which I choose for the easy walking distance to the Sachsenhausen resturants and South train station. Also very easy to walk the Main river, the Roemer area and Frankfurt shopping and sites. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet is very nice with everything you would want to start your day.

I liked the fact that this hotel is removed from the busy centre situated in a quiet suburb that is only ten minutes walk away from the city centre. We walked everywhere and saw lots of the city, its beautiful buildings and great museums. There is a superb cafe right beside the hotel in which we ate and had coffee most days. There is a park immediately opposite the hotel in which to rest and read on very hot days in the summer. The hotel is 5 minutes from the river where we loved sitting in the bars watching the world sail by!
