Nearness to Andechs Monestary. We have tandem cycled 2 1/2 monthsthrough Germany, France and Switzerland sleeping in a different hotelbed every single night. This, by far, was the very, very best in everyway-----better than our one 5 star experience. The owners are sincere,real, hard working, generous young people. Amazing!!!

Staff was wonderful and very attentive. The hotel itself was great, with good services, nice breakfast, lots of little details in the bathroom and everywhere (chocolates on the pillow, water, apple, etc). I hadn't asked for it, but they gave me a suite with kitchen, dining room table, etc which was fantastic for working. Highly recommendable.

The staff was very friendly and hard working, although not much Englishis spoken. Of course, that is part of the charm of this hotel and thesurrounding area of Andechs. It's a short 15 minute walk to KlosterAndechs, which is a fabulous way to spend a relaxing day at theBraustuberl, eating Bavarian treats and drinking some of the best beerin Germany. On the walk back from the Kloster, stop by the Getrankemarktand pick up some fabulous (and cheap) beers to enjoy in the courtyard atthe hotel, because there isn't any real nightlife in Andechs.

This was a wonderful place to stay. From the moment we checked in wefelt very welcome and comfortable. The room was very nice - clean andthe bathroom was exceptional. We had a nice shower with hot water and ashower that actually drained. The breakfast was also wonderful - plentyto eat and a great variety of food. I would highly recommend this hotel- and will use it again if I am ever in this area.

Very friendly, well-run hotel situated in quiet village. Typically Bavarian, with excellent choice of hot food served all day. Lovely beer-garden and choice of dining rooms inside. Location brilliant for trips to the Alps, the Bavarian castles (Neuschwanstein, Linderhof well worth a visit) or the pretty lakes (Ammersee, Starnbergersee)which are nearby. We spent 4 days in Munich also, but the city is only 20 miles from this village - convenient train service from Tutzing or Starnberg if you don't want to drive into Munich. Plenty to do and an ideal base for a relaxing holiday.

The friendliness and hospitality of the owners Mrs. Hebetanz and her son.They helped us whenever we needed something and their advises regarding bus and boat schedules were very useful. And the breakfast was just gorgeous.

We visited Andechs to visit the monastery and then travel on to seeNeuschwanstein Castle. I found Romantik Villa online. Our accomodationswere separate from the main house in a very "romantic" petite maison. Itwas very comfortable and clean. The breakfast provided by the owner wasoutstanding with many local foods. All in all, a very nice experience.

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at your hotel. The staff issparkling with smiles and readiness to help and explain anything. Ourroom was cleaned everyday, towels changed every day. Breakfast is out ofthis world, what a great crew works for preparing and serving breakfast!The swimming pool and sauna are very clean and relaxing. Apples in thefoyer was a savior by the end of the tiresome day! We want to expressour special thanks to everybody who worked with us. We want to come backsometimes next year! Great job, Folks!

I paid a lot because it was Oktoberfest. The hotel is very clean andluxurious, very close to the tram about a 2 minute walk. It was a littleout of the way in the sense of the Oktoberfest site but again, very easyto get to by tram and u train (about 25 min ride) and also about that tothe main train station. The staff was helpful, spoke english, the foodin the restaurant was good. I made a slight mistake booking and selectedno breakfast, when the breakfast option on your site would have been 2Euro more, I ended up having to pay 24 Euro because I clicked the wrongline and the reservation was non refundable. I paid a bit more for theroom than expected because of the timing and the fact that Munich issold out those two weeks but all in all, it was a fantastic place andvery clean!

This is a small budget hotel. We spent an Oktoberfest weekend in Munichand were very satisfied with the front desk service, convenience of thehotel and the cleanliness of the room. Though the room was small, it wasvery clean and nicely maintained. Would definitely recommend this hotelto anyone who is looking for a nice, clean and safe place to staywithout any of the higher end hotel amenities.

I came to Munich w/o reservation and alone for Oktoberfest. All theother reviews for this hotel were right on target. I spent 1 hour atairport reading reviews on the site before picking this hotel. The pricewas good for a single during Oktoberfest. The location is in the quietoutskirts of Munich. Just 4 stops from train station. Thestore,pharmacy,and underground stop down the blvd are really close. Roomitself really clean and updated. Single bed is spongy. Room is small butit served its purpose. Would be nice if hotel could provide plug in fansfor a small fee when hot. Didn't get up in time for breakfast. Staff atfront desk friendly and spoke English. Free wireless O.K. didn't usemuch. Lock boxes in lobby good for locking valuables.

Perfect hotel. The place was very clean, everything in room workedperfectly, the breakfast was very good. Hotel staff were very nice andhelpful. The hotel is in a nice part of the city but also right onsubway line 5 minutes from the center of town. This is a verycomfortable and relaxing hotel. Sometimes one finds a really comfortablehotel which makes for a really nice experience. Hotel Wetterstein issuch a place. The hotel staff made me feel very much at home and werequite helpful. The hotel is comfortable and accessible to both folksfrom Germany but also folk from English speaking countries. There whereguests there from Australia, Germany, Italy, England and the us. I wouldcome back to Hotel Wetterstein with my friends and colleagues but alsowith my family with small kids. I very strongly recommend this hotel.

We liked the location (5 minute walk to underground), the friendlinessand helpfulness of staff (and they spoke English!!), the cleanfacilities. It was nice they gave us 2 sets of keys which meant we werea bit freer to do our own thing. There is a supermarket closeby as wellas you can order fresh bread, spreads etc to be delivered to yourapartment for breakfast which is nice, not to mention the all day coffeeavailble in the foyer for when you come back tired and need a drink!

This hotel is not closed to underground/train station that takes around 20 mins walk. The room is rather small for four of us to stay in. We booked a room for 4 persons and there are one double bed and two sofa beds. There is not much space remained after opended that sofa beds. The door for bath tube is poor designed that you can't avoid wetting the bathroom during bathing. Breakfast is OK.
