Value for money. I booked a room for 3 people for 2 nights and was quite satisfied with it. The hotel is next to the street hence bit noisy as we opened windows for fresh air. But I hope if you are going there for exploring the city you are tired enough at night and won't hear them after 5 min lying at your bed. The service was good: they changed the towels after the first night however I feel the bed-sheets were the same (no complaints). Metro Station (line: M1) is next to the hotel, so a very good connectivity to the Paris City-center. One can reach Châtelet (central station) in 15-20 min. & Tour Eiffel in 30 min.

Having read some of the comments, we were not too sure what to expect. We were met at reception and were registered quickly and given our room. The room was very basic, but clean and the bed linen was spotless and crisp. The bathroom was brand new, great shower and plenty of hot water. Some light sleepers may have a problem from about 6am when the bin truck and street cleaners come around.Staff very friendly. The area withing 5 minutes walk has lots of good eating places. Many run a happy hour bringing the beer to Irish prices. There are lots of good shops also and the metro line 1 is a very short walk from the hotel. Area was very safe .Elevator only accommodates one at a time. The reason we stayed there was that we couldn't find another room for 4 nights

The room was absolutely lovely, even in the summer, without airconditioning, I was still comfortable enough to sleep at night- veryimpressive. But the best thing was the staff. My french is barelymediocre, and although their english was not much better, they workedwith me to understand and help us out. When we wanted to print ticketsto an attraction the attendant helped me email the tickets to myself onhis computer, access it and print it, and even when the technologywasn't working, he was very calm and understanding and incrediblyhelpful. Similarly, when we got locked out of our room after the deskhours, when we knocked the attendant was still there, and gave us theother key to our room so that we could get home later that night.Despite their poor english, some of the most understanding and helpfulattendants I've ever seen.
