The location of the hotel and the price simply cannot be beat. The hotel, while not luxury, is extremely comfortable and nice, and the staff is very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Delicious breakfast in a lovely garden, nice balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea: charming French atmosphere with excellent staff. Villefranche sur mer is a beautiful town and the hotel is located on a quiet street; the back overlooks a gorgeous Mediterranean garden with orange trees (the marmalade served at breakfast is made from the oranges. ) Every single person working at the hotel was extremely professional and made us feel very welcome; we couldn’t have found a nicer place to stay.

Quite a basic hotel, however when first shown my room which looked out onto the village street it was very noisy but Collette (receptionist) was very helpful and moved me to a room on the 3rd floor (309) which was wonderful, beautiful room, very comfortable bed and a haven to come back to after being out in the heat of the day.

The hotel was decent and had a resort feel to it. There was one desk staff who did not handle our checkin properly and was not too civil during our stay. This caused the owner problems trying to manage our booking properly. The owner and other staff were great however.

La Flore has a good location, overlooking the bay in Villefranche. However, despite expectations, walking down into Villefranche was not straightforward- we were told that the back gate onto the road to the rear of the hotel (which would have permitted a convenient walk down into the citadel) "was never open" and, if we did walk and wanted a taxi back up to the hotel, we "would not be able to get one because the drivers don’t want short trips". Therefore had to drive both ways.

We loved the location of the hotel right on the quayside inVillefranche.The view from our balcony was breathtaking. We most enjoyedjust relaxing in the sun watching the activity in the bay below. Thehotel is also very convenient for the old town with its narrow streetsfull of shops and cafes, and there is a very good selection of places toeat nearby.

This ia a lovely hotel in one of the best locations on the Cote d'Azur. All rooms face the water with balconies overlooking the magnificent rade of Villefranche-sur-mer. A warm reception from the manager, Olivier, as well as help with luggage and parking was much appreciated. I managed to park for free all week at the Citadelle, a short walk from the hotel. Wonderful location to explore the town and Riviera, and great restaurants within steps of the hotel. The cabin suite was very nice with its two private loggias and jacuzzi bathtub with underwater lights! Breakfast in the room was a treat. The free Wi-Fi worked fine. The Wine Bar was lively and popular. Cannot wait to return!!

Superb location on the waterfront. Our room was very nicely decorated with cloth material wall coverings instead of wallpaper.The view of the bay from the balcony was stunning. There is a good choice of restaurants around the hotel and along the waterfront although some were very expensive. 'Le Cosmo' next to the hotel served excellent food at reasonable prices. Welcome Hotel staff were very helpful. The train station is less than10 minutes walk along the quayside allowing easy travel to Nice, Monte Carlo etc.
