The location gave us a perfect rest point in our journey back to UK. The hotel was well located close to several small bars and restaurants. The hotel was clean and well presented and the quirky decorations were interesting and fun. The underground car parking made you feel that your car and all the holidays items left in it would be secure which is important as the hotel is not in the best end of the town.

The hotel is well located as a stop for people driving from Brittany orNormandy to the south of France as Vierzon is roughly half-way from theports of Cherbourg or Roscoff. Its situation in the middle of town makesit easy to get to restaurants (there’s an excellent pizzeria called LaScala just around the corner) or have a stroll. The buffet breakfastcosts an extra EUR8/person and while some have criticized this asexpensive, we found a good selection of food including some excellentcroissants, so felt that the breakfast was more than acceptable. What a find!! We only stayed at the Arche Hotel overnight on our way to & from the south of France and it was an excellent choice and location. The hotel was probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The staff were very friendly and helpful allowing us to place lots of vegetarian food in their fridge and freezers. There was an optional charge for breakfast which was excellent value for money as there was so much choice. Another plus feature was the secu.
