Close to the motorway and easy to find. Also room was quiet. The room was comfortable.

The restaurant was closed but this was not shown on the internet nor was there a sign advising of this in reception. There is a machine very close by that could be heard all through the night. Receptionist was not au fait with good restaurants in Brive even thought their own restaurant was closed.

Excellent location for an early train, short walk from the town centre and restaurants, local snack facilities in the hotel (also in the station), breakfast from 5am

The Hotel was across the road from the train station so was in a fantastic position to rest for the night, hire a car and travel to Sarlat. The staff were friendly and the room very clean.

The reception staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. The hotel issituated right opposite Brive La Gaillarde train station and is 5minutes walk from the centre of Brive - both of these are importantfactors in choosing to stay at this hotel. I had a 6.30am train to catchand was able to get extra time snoozing and not worry about missing thetrain. One disadvantage is being able to hear the eternal sound bite ofsncf from the train station if you get a room at the front of the hotel.
