This is an excellent hotel in a very quiet pedestrianised street in the very centre of Troyes. Once you find the car park it is directly underneath the hotel with direct lift access into the hotel. Troyes is a beautiful city with endless 16/17c half timbered buildings and several excellent museums and it is only a short drive to the many champagne producing villages. The town centre has endless restaurants in all price ranges plus a decent supermarket within walking distance.

The hotel was literally 2 steps from the centre of the town. We had dinner at a resteraunt metres from the hotel and within 20 metres was an old cathedral, a busy shopping district and historical strips of architecture. The town is dripping with character and so was the hotel. In the middle of these tiny one car streets was an underground carpark for our car, and among the tiny falling over century old houses was built this fantastic hotel. I wondered with these historical houses if they looked old and decrepit on the inside too, but this hotel really showed us how modern they could becom.

Extremely efficient, happy, helpful and friendly staff. The location is suberb, right in the middle of narrow streets of timber framed buildings, with many restaurants close by. There is no access for cars at the front of the hotel so suggest you check directions for the car-park (which is under the hotel) instead of using hotel postcode in GPS. Rooms clean and stylish, a good size for a city centre hotel.
