The hotel was very easy to locate off the Peage, the staff wereincredibly helpful and friendly. They have a lovely terrace. The hotel was ideally located for themediaeval city of Carcassone, which is less than 5 mins drive away. Donot be put off because this hotel is located in an ind.

Value for money - basic clean room with toilet for 32 euros - and god food. The hotel was very quiet. Very nice menu at the restaurant of the hotel.

A good but basic accomodation, staff all very friendly and helpful. Very friendly and homely hotel, would definitely stay again.

I knew very little about Bloc G before we stayed. However we were really impressed. Loved the modern minamalist rooms which had a very nice mix of modern and traditional feel to them. When we arrived, we discovered that there was a local music festival on in the city. Bloc G was participating by providing an area outside the hotel where locals and tourists danced to the local music. While the music went on late, there were no noise problems when it was time to go to bed. A special note for the friendly staff who made us very welcome and provided a good choice of breakfast in the morning. Thumbs up for Bloc G!

We booked this hotel because we liked the minimalist look of it online, & liked it.The rain shower was great. First place in France where we have had tea/coffee making facilities, & we made use of them. We ate in the restaurant one night, & it was very good food, & good value. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was amazing, both for variety & quality, especially on the first morning [2nd morning not as much variety]. Certainly the best breakfast we have had in about 20 hotels. Staff also nice & friendly.

It was ideally placed for walking to the walled city or to the moremodern city. Although very modern and minimalistic,our double room wasadequate with a comfortable bed and large tiled wet room. The airconseemed to be working OK.The French ladies running the hotel were veryfriendly and spoke English - the breakfast had a good selection andthe restaurant evening meal was plentiful and tasty with a widechoice. There was a lounge area with an open log ffire with goodservice for drinks.

This is one of the best b & b I've ever stayed at. It exhudes Frenchcharm and good style. The room is quite big and sleeps 3. There isantique furniture and a modern bathroom. The lounge is huge and a wellestablished garden including a banana tree and a small pool. You'll feelmiles away from the city centre which you are actually in. The hosts aremarvellously friendly and attend to every wish. Breakfast was huge, andspecially the home made yogurt was delicious. The castle is close, onlya 10 minutes walk. I also stayed in a modern 2 star hotel by the castlefor a similar price and did not compare, le 45 b&b is a great experienceand well worth a visit.

The owners are extremely nice people-ready to help in everything. The B&B is in an old house with a French charm. The rooms are on the second floor, breakfast is on the first. The pictures on the website are misleading: there were no pictures of the bathrooms as a whole-actually the rooms size was OK, but the bathrooms are very tiny, with no shower curtains, shampoo, & conditioner. Breakfast is very very basic: bread, croissants, butter, jam, coffee.

It has a homely feel that was made possible by the wonderful hosts andis more of a home stay / guest's residence rather than a hotel whichwas great. And the level of service rendered was definitely 2 thumbs up! Genuine, sincere and way better than the experience at 5 star hotels. Nicolas and Isabel were not only excellent hosts who extended their warm hospitality but were also excellent bakers. Isabel's baked scones are a must try.
