This is my favorite hotel in the Dordogne Valley. It has a lot ofcountry charm, beautiful gardens, a terraced restaurant which servesgourmet meals, free pvt parking. Quiet area in a agricultural setting. Highly reccommended.

The room, with balcony and lovely views over the countryside; theowners and waitress, who were very friendly and welcoming; thecourtyard garden; the location, which was within easy reach of manyof the interesting sites to visit in the Dordogne; the food, whichwas excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope tovisit again.

The receptionist was very welcoming and was very helpful in relation toour dog. In fact, all of the staff we met were very helpful. The Relaisis a good hotel in the best location in the village. It's a great basefor this area of Perigord.

Very nice location, staff very helpful, food excellent.The hotel itself is very picturesque with a lovely swimming pool. it is very quiet but if you are looking for a restful break this is where to stay. It is very well located for sightseeing as there are plenty of places to see close by.

We stayed at the Relais du Perigord Noir because we had enjoyed a staythere some 30 years ago when it was known as Hotel Scholly! The hotelhas been considerably enlarged and improved since then. In reality itoffers superior B&B facilities; the restaurant is not open to non-residents, and it is necessary to pre-book if one wishes to dine in theevening. Overall the facilities on ofer are very good - pool, sauna,gym, sitting rooms etc. The hotel is situated close to many of the mostpopular tourist sites (Beynac, Domme, Sarlat) without suffering from thecrowds which are associated with those sites. The staff were veryfriendly and helpful and most speak basic English. A very good choicefor families.
