The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent english, when asked they gave precise direction, to put it simply these are people who know how to do their job properly. Well done, keep it up! All in all it was the location that was the main factor, bang in the middle of the village and a bus stop just outside the hotel.

The location close to the town of Sete. Sea view rooms if you get one. The hotel is close to beaches( 15 minute walk) and a has good roof -top deck and swimming pool for relaxing at.

We liked the situation of the hotel and being able to walk into Sete and enjoy the facilities of the town, especially the restaurants.

Location, location; location: closest (functioning) hotel to trainstation, only 6 min walk. No views, but noisy sea gulls providemaritime atmosphere. Small, individually operated to hotel,. Somerecent renovations and new decorations elevate it beyond the ususalurban 2-star hotels, which can often be a bit dingy- here you find newpaint, new large elevator, modern floral themed photographic canvasprints, bricolage decoration in staircase and breakfast room - personaltouches, comparing well with typical chain hotels like ibis etc.

The location is spot on; a short walk in to town (just enough to work up an appetite) but far enough away to make it quiet around the hotel. The accommodation is not flash but is in keeping with the style of the hotel and really comfortable. Best of all, is the service from the hotel staff - we left a laptop charger in the room, and after a short email to Eric (the manager), he did not hesitate to post it to our home address at his own expense - that kind of service is hard to find these days!!.

We have stayed in several hotels in Sete over the past few years. It is very well situated in a fairly quietstreet near the station. The room was quite spacious and had a smallbalcony. Above all, the manager was very welcoming and helpful and thehotel is very clean and well maintained.

Myself and my family booked two rooms in this hotel. The price reflected the quality and position of the hotel, however the parking and breakfast was an added cost and a little too expensive for what it was. The rooms were clean, airy and the hotel staff were very friendly. We all enjoyed our stay and would return.

The location of this hotel at the intersection of 2 canals was perfect. It’s close to restaurants and activity along the quay, yet a bit removedfrom the main action spots further south. The hotel is gracious anddidn’t seem "dowdy" or past its prime (as has been expressed in somereviews). We enjoyed the absolutely perfect view outside our window ofcanals and morning sunshine, a great lunch at La Peniche, and beach timeat La Corniche.

We have been before and think it is the best hotel in Sete, beautiful and central with wonderful views if you get front rooms with balcony. Lovely setting in palm court for breakfast - french opulence and good staff.

In my opinion the only positive is probably it’s location close tothe beach at la corniche. Practically no other hotel nearby solittle choice.

It was just where we wanted it, internet available, on a bus route, the staff were very nice. The location to the beach, parking facilities and standard of rooms. Excellent hotel staff.

Staff was friendly and attentive, however most of them should improve their English. The hotel is a very basic 3 star. At least in the room there is the airconditionner.

Attractive older building well modernised for current usage centrally situated in Sete alongside the canal and thus a short walk from the main restaurant area - much further to the beaches. The room was quietish as it was at the rear of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would agree with other reviewers comments about the breakfast - altho’ it was acceptable better value mi.

I loved the city of Sete and the hotel was placed in an excellentlocation for covering everything on foot. We stayed justone night on our way to our next location and enjoyed our stay at thehotel. The hotel only five minutes taxi ride to the railway station. Bit cheeky! But what a cunning way to makemore money.
