I found the hotel to be clean, modern and welcoming. The location isexcellent, and we had a marvellous river view and vistas of the chateauand town of Saumur from our room. I was able to park our vehicle outsidethe door, and it was just a 3 minute walk over the bridge to the lovelyold town. The staff were all charming and most helpful and all parts ofthe hotel were clean and well maintained.

The position was wonderful with fabulous views across the Loire to theChateau and all the other fabulous buildings right opposite thehotel. The tourist info office was just across the bridge and it waswithin very easy walking distance to many boutiques, cafes &restaurants. We hope to return one day as Saumur was so beautiful and thehotel was in a superb location.

The hotel exceeded our expectations; it had a very relaxed feel about it and the public areas were really nicely set out. I would highly recommend paying the extra for the river view as it is spectacular!! Saumur is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants and shops and I would highly recommend both the hotel and the area.

Conveniently situated at the centre of Saumur, the recently refurbishedHotel de Londres provides an excellent base to discover the chateaux andwines of the Loire. The staff made us feel most welcome. If you can get atable at the nearby Lescargot restaurant the 24 euro menu is very good. Secure parking can be reserved and is within a courtyard to the rear ofthe hotel.

A really nice hotel located in the main thoroughfare of the city. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food. Parking available behind the hotel (payment to hotel) and about 100 metres away there is public parking. Excellent retaurants within walking distance of hotel.

The location was our main criteria for booking this hotel as we did not have very long in Saumur. As we were travelling with a packed car the secure parking was a must. Everything about this hotel was good. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Chateau De Verrieres for 2 nights and could not find onefault with this hotel. The chateau is absolutely beautiful,accommodation comfortable and the owners warm, welcoming and dideverything to make our stay perfect. Breakfast wasbeautiful, and Saumur is a fantastic little town a short drive frommany of the lovely sites of the Loire Valley. 5 Stars!.

We were given a very warm welcome from the owners. The hotel was breath-taking in its beauty both inside and out. Breakfast is the only meal available from the hotel. This is indeed a special place to stay.

The chateau is a 10 guest lodge that is an old, restored chateau. If Saumur is your destination, the location of this hotel is excellent, and is within walking distance of the Saumur castle, which is the unfortunately closed tourist attraction of this city.

The Hotel Du Parc in Saumur is a lovely hotel - the owners MarieChristine and Philipe were excellent hosts and the overall decor andstandard was the best we have experienced at Logis de France. The hotel location borders on thecountryside on the edge of an industrial estate, but we had no problemswith being next to the estate. The hotel was easy to find near the mainroad. Our 2-night stay was a good experience and we.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly making our stay especially nice. Although the hotel is outside the town of Saumur it is very easy to drive in to a square and park free on the isle between the river branches and walk over the bridge to the town. We enjoyed our meal at the hotel very much. The food was very interesting and delicious and the staff got it just right.

Saumur is a wonderful place to visit and the Hotel Du Parc provides apeaceful retreat after visiting all the sights in Saumur. The hotel is a25 minute walk from the centre where there are lots of places to eat,drink and people watch. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and atrip to Saumur.

We spent 3 days in Saumur at the St. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the owner/manager was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Saumur is a great location for local attractions, as well as being close to Chinon, Langeais, and Angers. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to France.

A really excellent and relaxing place to stay right in the centre of the town. The breakfast was a real treat and although there is no restaurant in the hotel there are plenty of good ones to choose from within about 200 yards. This hotel is ideal for a short city break. Tea making facility didn’t work in one of teh rooms but the hotel owner was happy to make tea or coffee on demand without additional charge.

A beautiful, historic hotel in the centre of the old town of Saumur. Very comfortable accommodation, charming and helpful staff. A really excellent breakfast with baked apple, crepes, fruit, yoghurt as well as bread and viennoiseries. No restaurant in the hotel but a wide range of good places to eat within a very short walking distance.
