This hotel was clean and comfortable we stayed for one night travelling down to spain we will also use this hotel travelling back to the uk.

Your advertising made us feel we were going to a small family-run hotel so we were surprised it was so large. We were not disappointed however as every aspect of the service (reception, restaurant and room service) was a "family" experience. Congratulations.

We chose the Hotel because of its location on our return home to catch the ferry at Caen. The Hotel served its purpose in that regard. We had an evening meal in the Hotel and were very impressed with the food. We would recommend the Hotel for those who want a night’s stay whilst travelling.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast buffet. We asked for rooms next door to each other as we were travelling as a family and got them which was nice. The hotel rooms opened onto a little garden so it was pleasant to stay in them.

The room had air-conditioning, the hotel and rooms had a nice modernfeel and everything was in good order. There was a door between the main (adult) bed and the child’sbed which was good. The breakfast was good and the restaurant offeredreasonable food and typical french cuisine. The presentation of thefood was also good.

The Hotel was in a good prime spot just off the motorway. Secure car park as it is lockedat 11. 00 pm then you have to have security code to get in. Overall agood stop over, would stay again.

18Th Century Chateau full of old world charm. Set in large gardens 5kfrom Le Mans but very easy to get to. The owner greated us and was anexcellent host. Would be more than happy to return.

We liked the whole ambiance and the quirkiness of such a grand building,the owner was great and spoke excellent english, we will return again ifever we come this way , oh and by the way if you do use this Hotel askthe owner to give you directions to the Old Mill restuaraunt Fantasticj&k Taylor.

A clean and tidy little place in a quiet corner of a small commercial area.For those looking for an overnight stay on a longer journey it is conveniently close to the A28/E402 where it meets the A11 at Junction 7. Reception coped well with my lack of Francais! Booked here in advance purely on location and price as part of a trip down to Algarve, but made a point of calling here unbooked on way home as well. Breakfast good.

A warm,friendly and helpful welcome. Our room was very nice, the bathroom was excellent, well equiped and had a HUGE shower.The situation is wonderful, situated in a small village in the countryside. Very quiet and peaceful. Close to Le Mans old town and all the eateries. There is a pretty walk along the river close by too. Breakfast was lovelyt, the best croissants we had during our whole trip! We would stay here again and certainly reccommend it to our friends.The self catering facilities are a real bonus.

We stopped off at this hotel on our way through France to the Ferry.This is a hidden gem. The friendship and welcome by the host on arrivalwas excellent. He explained all to us including where to eat in thecity in the evening. The room was great - high quality and verycomfortable. Breakfast in the morning was also fab and the convertedbarn was an experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to all,from couples to families. It has a very relaxing atmosphere about itand nothing was a bother. I certainly will book it again next year onmy travels through France.

From the moment we arrived, Pierre, our host, made us feel welcome. Wewere made aware that he was available, for advice etc, at the end of atelephone line, and yet he was at no time intrusive, which is an aspectof the stay that pleased us. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortableand delightfully stylish; (we understand that Martine, Pierre's wife cantake credit for that aspect of the property). The room had all thefacilities that we demand of accommodation when we are away from home.In addition, it offered a unique (in our experience) self-cateringelement, element, in that there was a shared dining and foodpreparation/kitchen area, which guests could avail themselves of, shouldit be one's choice. To summarise, it was very tranquil, clean andcomfortable. It was in an excellent location and the losts wereattentive yet discreet. We could not have asked for accommodation moresuited to our personal requirements. We shall certainly stay again whenin the Le Mans area. { Nic & Gloria ~ Bour

We spent two nights at this hotel. It is well placed to visit Le Mans race track. It has very good on site parking. All the food was well presented & enjoyable. Breakfast seemed reasonable value for money. The staff were friendly & efficient. The room was small, however, very clean and tidy.

Very quiet location with trams near by for transport into Le Mans -ideal stopover for travel between channel ports and south west france.Breakfast was included in our room rate so good value - we would nothave bothered otherwise. Not too difficult to find from the tollroute. Rooms medium sized and curtains designed to keep sunlight out.Standard Novotel features - free wi-fi. There was also a small outsideswimming pool.
