Choose it for the food recommendations, unfortunately restaurant fully booked and wedding on in 2nd restaurant. However they did direct us to another in the village which was very good if somewhat expensive. Infact it cost as much as the stay in the hotel for the night with breakfast. This blew the budget somewhat but there appeared to be nowhere else to eat. Would recommend anybody to book meals at time of hotel booking. The breakfast was superb. Would like to go back and stay in this hotel for a longer period.

We liked the hotel in whole - we received the conditions we hadexpected. For us it was only one night in this hotel on our way fromParis to Schwangau (Germany, castle Neuschwanstein). Very good place tohave a rest, relax in the little swimming pool, tasty breakfast andreally extraordinary (fantastic!) supper in the high class restaurant("Philippe Bohrer") next to the hotel. The visit of this restaurant canbe independent (special!) purpose of travelling. The restaurant can becompared with the best ones in Paris (you can believe me - I spent inParis more than 10 years)! Rather expensive, but so unusual, very tasty- really "gourmandise" and so stylish! We recommend this hotel and therestaurant to tired traveller disired rest and tasty food.

Very good price-quality ratio. My ratings take account of the low price(We paid eur 40 a night for two persons). There were a lot of additionalservices (E.G. swimming pool) available at no costs, that we couldn'tuse, since we were too tire, so I am not able to evaluate on them. Thehotel is very clean with a classy appearance and located at the entranceof a roustical winegrowers' village. Ideal if you arrive by car. Parkingin front of the hotel is limited, but plenty of space available at anearby parking lot and along the street. In Western Europe you wouldexpect to pay much more. The receptionists are at least tri-lingual(French, English, German). Very quiet. I often use earplugs, but here noneed at all. Romantic landscape and setting. We based our decision tochoose this hotel based on the comments on this site, and I have toadmit that they are correct. Thanks to all of those. Conclusion: Forbudget travelers like us we would at this price (eur 40) certainlychoose this hotel again!!
