The accomodation and our general impression was quite good or better accetptable. It is not a luxury hotel and could be equiped more generously but for a shorter stay it is acceptable. After reading some of the negative guest reports we were affraid to go there but this was really not true. We had quite good experience with the hotel and the staff was very nice.

This isn’t common hotel but residence for long stay. You can’t wish for normal hotel’s service but it is very comfortable even if you don’t expect it. There is a convenient foods store. We want to stay here again.

Hotel itself was adequate, however we had the hotel order a minibus to the airport for 6 passengers with luggage at a set fee, instead two taxi’s showed up and we had little alternative than to take them at almost 3 times the cost - so stay ended on a bitter note.

The staff were very friendly. The decor of the hotel is functional, pleasing, reflective of the best of modern/BauHaus/with strong Corbusieran elements and thoroughly in accord with the sense of light and colour of the Cote d’Azur. Madame Laurence was a most gracious hostess to whom I promised to write an article on the hotel for my newspaper. In conclusion I should say that the Hotel Victoria.

The ’boutique style’ of the hotel, - its rooms and facilities was veryattractive. Accessible, by an airport bus - ideal for those without their owntransport. However, the most striking thing about this hotel was thefriendliness of its staff; they were very helpful, and always had asmile. Very nice hotel. friendly and "like home" hotel. 2 minutes by car from menton and 7 minutes from monaco. breakfast can be better but very good hotel.

The hotel´s location, right in front of the beach. In addition I´dprefer that specific beach in Menton/Cap-Martin. The water seems moreclear, calm and the beach is frequented by families. The hotel is ok ifyou don´t mind to the simplicity.

Nice small hotel at the seafront (pebble beach), in a rather small town within short driving distance to Monaco and Nice. No hotel parking, but could always find a parking spot at the roadside near the hotel (no fees).

Opposite beach and promenade, beautiful walk to other villages,proximityto train station, close to shopping area, good value compared to highend hotels. Cleaners very good.

Very nice location, great service, very friendly staff (family run I believe). Otherwise size of the room was ok, given it was peak-season its hard in Nice to find a price below $120/night but understand that off-season it’s much cheaper rates and well worth staying at. Otherwise hotel is located just 5 mins from beach and central strip of nice, so great location.

The Cigales is a clean, comfortable hotel in an average location for Nice. The rooms were well furnished and large, it was in easy walking distance to a small pedestrian area and the promenade. (Though it was quite far from Vieux Nice and the port. ) They had beach mats and umbrellas to borrow, and the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful.

The Hotel is very well located, close to all amenities Nice has tooffer: Old Nice, Promenade des Anglais, Train station, etc. Hotel staffis very helpful, very polite and they were nice people to talk to.
